The big softie himself. ;) You got it, @Dragonpol. Over to you.

    Thank you!

OK, who is this and from which book?

"She had bold, brown eyes, slightly uptilted at the corners, beneath a fringe of silken black hair."

I don't know, seems a little Artificial to me. As Artificial as The Man with the Golden Gun?

    Book and Character:

"The contrast between the level innocence of the big, deep blue eyes and the passionate promise of the wide mouth. And the way she had blushed and the way the long eyelashes had come down over the lowered eyes. Had that been the prudery of a virgin? Bond thought not."

Okay. No one took it, so I'll go ahead.

Book, character speaking, to who and about who.

"You can't open the paper without reading something about him. Sunday Express is running his life."

James Bond to M about Sir Hugo Drax in Moonraker?

I think that's right but I'll guess the opposite just in case: M to Bond about Drax?

    "
looked like a middle-aged prize fighter who has retired and taken to the bottle."

conventional disguise with which Brooks Brothers cover the shame of
    American millionaires.

"He seemed ordinary enough, perhaps rather somberly dressed, but in his first quick glance Bond put him down as some business man on his way along the coast who just happened on the inn or had picked it out of the Michelin."

The Smersh agent who followed Vesper and Bond to their hotel at the coast?
  • That would be the motorcyclist following Bond and Tiger in 'You Only Live Twice.'

Please give me a name and the book, Campbell2.
  • Could've sworn that was the motorcyclist from YOLT. Fleming must have described him in a similar fashion. After all, he wasn't beyond repeating himself occasionally.
