No need to worry. I did the same! I actually thought it was my go next until I checked this thread! :))
Book, and which two characters are talking to each other?
"[...] you are a man after my own heart. We share many interests together, and from your talk, and from the man I think you to be, I am sure you did not cooperate with the Nazis."
Two men striding down the wide open expanse of the golf fairway.
One, ever so derisively asks the other.
" How's the agoraphobia,______(insert name)?" :))
Major Smythe to Hans Oberhauser in OP?
@Perilagu_Khan Whilst I'd have loved to have given you the points for Franz Oberhauser, he wasn't a Fleming character, you were right in every other respect.
Major Smythe to Hannes Oberhauser in OP.
My question still stands. We have the book, but not the two characters.
Think hard! :P
10 points for each or whatever amount @villiers approves.
Bond to Goldfinger in the book Goldfinger?
I laugh my head off every time I read that line.
The humourless Goldfinger's non response is just as funny I think.
Fleming's Bond was quite glib, even before the films were released.
Another favorite is Fleming's description of Bunt via Tiger Tanaka.
Poor Tiger is truly repulsed. Traumatized even. :))
No, just type out the correct answer in full. You got it. :)
Sorry, I commented not seeing this page.
Great! I look forward to it.
"Unconsciously his mouth pursed and a clear note was emitted. He uttered an impatient 'tchah!' and continued with his reading."
