Apparently the trailer is being attached to 'Furious 7' which is a contender to tip over the million dollar mark. The only puzzling thing is that filming is only around 50% done. So there will be a lot of stuff left out. Obviously Mexico won't feature as they haven't even started there yet and I highly doubt Mendes will even let them have anything from the third act so to my estimation I'd imagine the trailer will focus exclusively on Austrian plane sequence and the Rome car chase. With obligatory money shots of Craig in action and Seydoux and Bellucci smouldering. No Waltz - I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't feature in any marketing material.
Some of Hoyte's recent work from 'Interstellar' to wet your appetites
It will be good whatever happens, it's Mendes
=D>
Can't imagine a dumber idea than showing old footage. Like the fan base is so primed for a teaser of old QOS material, just panting for it. Or old CR or SF scenes everyone has seen 10 times already. It would be a total turn off, an anti-teaser. The competition that Spectre will be facing is a killer, and they better have a sharply made teaser with new material, or they will be blasted. Spectre has already had enough bad press for 3 films. Huge budget, studio suits snipping about everything in the leaks, injuries, Mexican "scandal," and on and on. Can't believe they'd be that stupid to tease with old footage.
Possibly another IMAX trailer?
It will be Pfeifer Frankfort who did all the cues for the Craig-era trailers so far including Skyfall. They seem to have a MASSIVE Bond trailer music library built up since CR.
And someone at ajb who's seen the trailer said it's all new footage, and they've been right on the money on it being around 1 min 30.
And like I've said before, with the early start a 3 (4 if they do IMAX again) trailer campaign is a lock :D first now, second at SDCC, final sometime late Sept/early Oct.
See link in first post
Not a fan of the idea either but funny this is posted just after the last Hunger Games releases a teaser that's exactly that. Hell, no footage, just the animated logos from all 4 films ending with a sound bite from the new one.
Then again they're purposefully limiting it (showing with Insurgent, not calling it a teaser necessarily) because it's clearly aimed at the fan base who will flail over anything :D real teaser trailer for that film will come with Avengers.
Also, TDK first teaser anyone? And funnily enough I may be working on a SPECTRE version ;)
TL;DR something like that would have worked in December ;)
Correct. Aaron says 10am GMT
Well, he wouldn't be allowed to. We will see for ourselves soon enough.
Amen! 6am here!
11 in the morning, and I have the day off... Couldn't be better.
I'm very pleased to hear that. As I wrote earlier, I was afraid most of the trailer would be just old footage.
Ajb is Absolutely James Bond, a James Bond fansite. Someone on their forum stated that he has seen the trailer.
