Absolutely, especially with it being another huge James Bond release. A midnight showing is going to be inevitable, and now it'll be a matter of finding out as soon as tickets go on sale.

AMc theatres in Chicago area had Terminator Geniysys showings the day before at 7 & 10pm. Same for MI Rogue Nation.

What a great time to be a Bond fan. Maybe I'm just gushing/fanboying, but it really does seem that we're in the second Golden Age (after the 60s) of 007 films.

I'd say we are. Both Casino Royale and Skyfall are considered two of the best in the whole series, and Quantum of Solace is better than its reputation. And obviously Spectre looks to be amazing. The Connery and Craig eras are definitely my favorites.

Enjoyed the trailer. Just the right mix of action, drama and tension. Loved that they finally let us see Lea, bits of the rest of the cast and the locations. There is a lot of money on the screen, and for whatever reason EON went for broke on the budget, this trailer badly needed to market SP to the masses of movie goers out there who aren't Bond nuts like us. I think they got this trailer just right. They've got a great cast, now I'm just hoping they get the theme song right.

This SPECTRE trailer moved me enough to dust off the ol' MI6 username to make a few comments on the trailer before I go to bed. The first of which will be:

1.) OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG :)) The Bond fan in me just burst into tears of joy it's so beautiful!

2.) Throughout the trailer not once did I think, where's Judi Dench? I will miss her greatly, and I am a tad skeptical about a film without her, but I think Skyfall did a well enough job of introducing future familiar faces that it won't hit me too hard that she is truly gone. Not to mention Ralph Fiennes reminds me so much of Bernard Lee, so that helps. Think about it, people; This will be the first Judi Dench-less Bond film in 26 YEARS.

3.) I am looking forward to SPECTRE so, so, much, and the Bond fan in me is so excited for Q- branch's gadget laden Astons to return, but boy do they feel out of place in Craig's era. Casino Royale and QoS were so serious, gritty, and realistic, and now all of a sudden we are being pulled back into Connery's 60's films territory. How are they going to explain Q's line about "not going in for that sort of stuff anymore" in Skyfall? They're making flame-throwing Astons in literally the next movie after SF. We are clearly entering an era of Bond closer to that of 1962- 2002. It's just weird considering how in your face the producers were about the realistic tone of the reboot and CR and QoS when we all thought we'd never see another gadget again. I love all of Craig's films, but boy did they take a strange change in tone since QoS and I am OK with that 100%.

4.) Waltz looks like he will portray Blo, er, Oberhauser spectacularly. I wouldn't read too much into him saying I'm not playing the classic character in the tabloids. Besides, this trailer screams WALTZ IS "BLOFELD!" at the top of its lungs. They gave away a huge spoiler in the Terminator Genisys trailer too. Seems to be the norm nowadays.

5.) OHMSS theme? Awesome usage in the trailer, but it better not be a huge hint that the movie will reuse major plotlines from OHMSS. Reboot Bond already had his Tracy. Her name is Vesper. That's all I'll say on that...

I'm tired. I apologize if some of this is rambling and run on sentences. :-bd

And now Mr. Waltz, you will keep denying? :D

What's up with Waltz' chin? It hasn't always been like that, has it?

Yes, if you look up images of Waltz you'll see his chin has always been like that. They may, however, have added make-up or lit him in such a way to play up the classic Bond villain deformity angle.

Yes, the scar on his chin certainly seems embellished a bit.

I just watched the trailer in HD and was able to read the gadget buttons. They were: backfire (used on Hinx), atmosphere, and exhaust. I wonder what those do.

Mallory is so well established he is basically tenured coming in with the degree of attention he received in Skyfall. Cheers on the sentiment of your post, though! I get the impression Dench is under appreciated by fans of the franchise. While it's true she was not the literary M, we couldn't have had a better actor to play the part. Even still, Fiennes will no doubt be fantastic for the direction the series is taking.

Guys, I was just listening carefully to the music of the trailer from 2min00 till 2min07. And I actually think it's a queue from the "Casino Royale"-theme "You Know My Name". Just listen carefully and compare it with the first opening queues (first 6 seconds) of the main titles:

So, the trailer music has got actually queues from John Barry's "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" and David Arnold's "You Know My Name" :-D!.

I wish! Sadly, it's just a slowed-down portion of a later part of the OHMSS theme.

Had a look on Youtube, in the first 24 hours since the trailers release. 4.5 million views.
Not sure how good that is? Sounds like quite a lot. Was certainly all over the media this morning.

Ha! Good eyes! I've read the script and all I can say the biggest surprise will be switching the

    button:-)

Love the way they keep the grittiness in the trailer, but also references classic Bond.

Yes, I do wonder how they will match up, if at all, Qs comments about having tea in his pyjamas and his other comments with the new car. They were very assertive in Skyfall to give us a very new and different Q and show he was different. He came over as a more sensitive Q who perhaps voted green and would not be surprised if he was a vegetarian. He would have been a fan of the new technology that powered electric cars (Tessla?) and, IMHO, could have seen massive super cars like Aston's as dinosaur. And yet, in the new trailer, he clearly loves the new car and it's tricks. Just a small thing. Its a wonderful trailer, just wonderful

    Yep. I read it, too.

Only looking at the stills I realized it is Bond who gets beaten in this scene Spectre-Attack.jpg
I wonder if this is how Craig got his knee injury. It happened during a fight scene filmed at Pinewood so it could be possible.

Hail to Dennis Gassner as well. He has been a major coup to the Bond franchise. He channels Ken Adam in a perfect way, but maintains his own style.

I've produced a trailer analysis and breakdown video if anyone is interested in watching. I've tried to comment on as much of the trailer as possible, scene by scene:

Like most of you here, I'm extremely excited about the film. I think the two trailers that have been released so far have been perfect, not revealing too much and raising lots of questions. I loved the alternative version of the Majesty's theme tune as well.
