The ironic thing about Lucy is that she was born in Nettlebed; the place that Derek (Viv Michaels paramour in TSWLM) gave as a false address when caught having sex with Viv in the cinema.

An interesting listen. I only wish it had been longer, maybe an hour like the Archive On Four documentaries.

    Wonderful listen!
    Well produced as well.
Lots of good entertaining and informative bits about Ian and his life.
Lucy references the centenary, so I think this show was made in 2008.
Liked the bit about the airport owners calling a meeting to deal with Ian, in DAF, calling their souvenir-shop wares, junk.

There's quite a lot of Bond stuff over in the BBC Archive site. The radio stuff can be heard outside the UK though the visual stuff is UK only. There's a chat between Fleming and Raymond Chandler and the quite nice half hour documentary James Bond - The Last Englishman.

So far I've listened to the conversation between Chandler and Fleming. Fascinating and most stimulating. I could listen to Fleming talk for hours. Obviously, Fleming looked up to Chandler but I think many of us already knew this. For some reason I always presumed that Fleming died before Chandler. Don't know why. Chandler was 20 years older than Fleming. He lived to the age of 71 which wasn't bad back in those days.

I'll have to listen to more of this stuff, now that I have installed the BBC app.
The Chandler discussion with Ian sounds real interesting.
Yes, I too, could listen to Ian for hours.
    Real interesting guy.
