    Should mention that overall I like Moore more as the ones he lost were close ones and the ones he won were by landslides.

    Gonna go with Pierce in this instance. Moore was great at the approach that he took, but that particular approach is my least favourite.

    Moore. Moore's films were mediocre films that were fun and self-aware. Brosnan's films were mediocre films, but (relatively) boring and self-serious.

    Moore played to the strengths of the era while Brosnan, while not doing a poor job, was just along for the ride.

    LALD>GE (both have great supporting characters, but Kananga and his gang are so unique, and; Moore was so at ease in following King Connery and immediately made the character his own).
    TMWTGG > TND (this was close, but the second half of TND turns me off and Lee was superior to Pryce).
    TSWLM> TWINE (one was beautifully entertaining, the other was dull, self-serious and melodramatic).
    MR> DAD (one was glorious to look at; the other was plain ugly).

    LALD was the second Bond movie I ever saw in the theatre, and I loved it. Yes, I'm a Guy Hamilton kid. I loved TMWTGG as well. Jaws never did sit well with me in TSWLM, and MR almost made me write off the series at that point. Brosnan's movies at best were as good or better than Moore's first two, and at worst better than MR. Yes, even DAD.
