I agree about new consoles. What's wrong with the ones we have now? I hate having to shell out cash for a new next gen one. I hope that for the 720, you can use your old xbox live account and 360 games work on there, so I can keep all my old saves without keeping the old xbox like I did with my ps2.

GTA 5 is set to be shown at Gamescom this August, as well as the Rambo game. Happy, @thelivingroyale?! ;)

Just how it happened last time, a leak has shown that EA is going the same route as they did with the MoH/BF3 beta mashup.

Currently, if you reserve 'Medal of Honor: Warfighter' on PC on Origin, you will receive a beta code for 'Battlefield 4,' and if it works the same way as it did last time, that will be out within a year. It's rumored that this deal will hit console editions relatively soon.

'MoH: Warfighter' looked pretty nice to me, until the latest MP gameplay trailer showed off how much like CoD it looks like. But, I might be able to fight through that, and I remember how much I was aching for a BF3 beta code last time, so I might as well reserve it.

I think the new MOH looks more like Battlefield than COD. Why did they move MOH to modern day again? It's wierd, because there used to be a day when I hated the massive ammount of ww2 games, but now I'd really like another ww2 shooter. Now I'm sick of the massive ammount of modern military shooters.

I was surprised to find out just last night that Spielberg is the creator of the MoH series.

It was WWII, thanks to CoD, I assume. Then, CoD4 went modern, as did everything else. Now, the new 'Black Ops 2' is going futuristic, and it seems like other games will follow like lost puppies.

I blame the original Battlefield and MOH for the huge ammount of ww2 games, since they came out before COD. Then, the first Modern Warfare was a big success and now, all we have is modern military FPS after modern military FPS.

You're probably right @Creasy47 We'll be getting futuristic reboots soon if the new COD is successful (which, lets face it, it will be. Although it might not beat mw3).

    He is? Never knew that.

@thelivingroyale, indeed. I'm not sure if it will beat the past CoD games, but I'm sure it will rake in another $1 billion, and easily work in even more new players to the series. It's disgusting.

The CoD games have to reach a point where the last title made so much money the title following it fails to match it.
I think that point might have arrived. I know millions of people (for some reason) still love it and Black Ops 2 will still rake in tons of cash, but more and more people are getting sick of COD and MW3 made a huge ammount of money that will be very, very difficult to top.

One very good thing: Critics (gaming websites and Amazon alike) are starting to realize that COD's just not changing. MW3 was the exact same as MW1&2, and Black Ops and W@W are COD2 and COD3 and all the others. A couple new things get tossed into the mix every year, but it's the exact same. Hopefully BO2 will change things up with the inclusion of the future (WTF?) but I doubt it'll change enough.

Even with the future, they shouldn't be making such a drastic change when they're using the same engine. Something that grand should have been saved for next-gen consoles.

But, what's really funny is that I'm sure CoD on the next-gen consoles will look like BF3 in this generation of consoles, and will never manage to catch up.

COD on next-gen consoles will look EXACTLY LIKE COD ON CURRENT CONSOLES. The series hasn't really changed since the first one, even graphics-wise. It still has the sh*ttiest water in video game history.

Ab-so-lutely. I loved CoD 2, 3, 4, and WAW, and it completely dropped off after that. The simplicity became too much, and it turned into a kill-streak ridden fest that made each game feel like the last.

The ultimate superhero badmouth smartass voiced by one of the greatest smartasses ever! Nolan is perfect for this type of comedy, and he did about 90% of the voices in the trailer. Looks like a real quirky game, should be fun.

I can easily see this game getting an M rating.

Also, Nolan North also provided Deadpool's voice in the DVD Hulk Vs and the games (Ultimate) Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions.

Also, Nolan North also provided Deadpool's voice in [snip...] Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions.

Of course, that's where I know the character from. A game based around him, ok i'm interested.

A PC Deadpool is no Deadpool at all. It has to be this way. Like I said, it looks like good unwinding fun.

I hope when the Deadpool movie comes out that Ryan Reynolds does the role well. I laughed at him during X-Men Origins, so I truly hope that film is good. Plus, it'll supposedly have all the fourth-wall breaking humor Deadpool's known for (just like I hope this does).

I read the film wasn't happening.

Last I knew it was on its way, 2013 release. Some first time director, used to be a VFX expert, or something.

I haven't heard mention of a Deadpool film in a long, long time, since way back during the 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' release. Either the 2013 date is a placeholder - probable - or they plan on getting to work very, very soon. Is Reynolds still going to play him, you think?

I just wish they would drop a trailer for Man of Steel and then start pushing some ideas of a game tie in for that.

@oo7, they did...at Comic-Con, sadly. I'm looking forward to seeing how 'Man of Steel' looks. I refuse to believe that it could be any worse than the Routh version.

No, I know the trailers coming I just mean I hope a good game gets shown off soon too.

Can't be a worse game than the Superman Returns treatment. The Routh film was too tame. Superman didn't throw a single damn punch the entire time. I love the elements with moving on with his life after failing to find survivors and how he has to deal with Lois moving on, but everything else was him flying around and catching things in midair. Just ok for me.

@0BradyM0Bondfanatic7, I usually don't like to dog movies I recall 'hating' or 'loathing' that I haven't seen in years and years, but that one is a special case: I recall it being trash, and I have no interest in ever viewing it again. I enjoyed Cavill in 'Immortals,' I just hope he manages to use his muscle in this one.

You should give it a rewatch, and see how you feel. Maybe when Man of Steel comes out you can watch it a few days prior and compare the two. I am doing that for Batman. Batman 89 tonight, then Returns, and skipping Schumacher's garbage twofers and rewatching Nolan's 2 masterpieces that I am sure TDKR will finish the set of. I am also playing Batman Arkham City's campaign this week, and will likely finish in two days time. I am absolutely batty.

Nice avatar by the way. And where's the quote from on your profile page? I know it's Brosnan that said it, but I don't know where from.
