What new Hitman material?!
Also, as inevitable as it was, Modern Warfare 3 hits $1 billion in sixteen days, beating 'Avatar' by merely one day:

I prefer altiar too, but he's in revelations, thats why I love it so much, because it has both assasins. The reason they included ezio in brotherhood is because alot of people wanted a follow up to his story, and with AC 2s ending they couldn't really just forget about him. But brotherhood is worth buying just because of the story and the whole training up assasins idea. Revelations is the best one yet, there are tons of new weapons and equipment, the idea of training/recruiting assasins and sending them on missions is still there, and its really cinematic.
But ubisoft already said they did revelations to finish altiar and ezios stories and that this would be the last game to feature these two, so you don't need to worry about that. And the one a year thing might seem like they're rushing it but they need to finish desmonds story before the end of 2012.

Here's the action packed live action trailer:
A gameplay preview:
And finally an in-depth interview with United Front Games(the developer) and Square Enix on the development of the game and its influences and mechanics:
And some behind the scenes featurettes:
One of the most anticipated games of 2012 for me along with Hitman: Absolution and Sleeping Dogs(aka True Crime: Hong Kong).
Some old gameplay footage of Hitman: Absolution but played in a different fashion with some informative developer commentary:

More details due on Monday.
I was hoping for any of these 3 things
1- feudal japan, with ninja assassins taking on samurai templars
2- a game using entirely desmond, in the modern day, set in somewhere like new york, still using you're hidden blade and parkour skills but also using modern assassin techniques, like john woo esque gun fu
3- victorian london
I'm happy enough with this news, I'm a big assassins creed fan and chances are I will love the next game no matter what, but considering the ending of revelations and how the whole thing has been building up to desmond stopping the end of the world in 2012, I think the modern day idea would've made most sense for AC 3.
Don't expect too much out of brotherhood, its a great game and rome is huge (bigger than istanbul in revelations), but its more or less a continuation of AC 2 with some new weapons and features, revelations moves away from italy and that story though.
So brotherhood- AC 2 continued
Revelations- AC 2 sequel
live trailer reveal tommorow here-
I wonder, if they continue (i'm sure if they wanted to, they'll find a way) could a WWI setting work. Now that i'd like to see.

EDIT
No, we do have a trailer:

I'm really excited but I hope they don't mess up the formula too much. AC works fine as it is, even if it does need some change. But still, can't wait to free run through trees and tomohawk wolves and soldiers.
I'm only buying 3 games this year- max payne 3, GTA V, and AC 3. Really can't wait for this one.
Trust me, it has to go through the recommended 4 delays which is the Rockstar standard. It'll be Q1/Q2 2013 at the soonest. ;)
Thank God! *-*
If they released this year, it would be so early.
I'd be truly surprised if it released Q3/Q4 2012. It appears that Rockstar have been very busy making the game and have progressed quite a bit, but I see early 2013 as a more likely release date for the title.
Exact. And also, the trailer they did has some "obsolete" graphs for what i expect from GTA V. They had progressed so much in these 3, 4 months of development. Plus, they of course, need to make the game the slowest possible, to make it as perfect as possible.
Anyway, until V is launched, or if it sucks, i say: No other GTA will beat San Andreas.
you mean nothing will beat GTA 2?
San andreas was good, but I prefer vice city and IV.
