It´s not really invisible, it just reflect light from the surroundings, which makes it hard to see. But Bond is behind it, cause he can´t be seen there. Exactly the same would happen if it were grey.
I think we are supposed to think that the goon had fainted, and Bond woke him up shortly thereafter.
I know! Because the whole point is MI6 want Bond to come in and report BECAUSE he shot the man dead (which he didn't). Consequently, he had his passports and credit cards cancelled because MI6 thought he shot the man dead. Why not tell the truth! I think it's probably another case of bulletholes in the QOS script.
But he could still say "I only threw him off the roof" and not care. Its more a case of it all not making sense to me.
Perhaps Bond got a blackout or was under so much stress that he forgot? Same when Hip drives away from Bond in TMWTGG (trying to explain both scenes).
If not, Bond was either stupid or trying to get into a conflict with MI6. The latter is hardly the case.
In the TV version of TMWTGG, when he drives away, the girls in the backseat are yelling but in this version they have subtitles! My DVD just has yelling. The subtitles say 'Stop Stop we left him behind, stop the car!!!' (or something like that). There is absolutely no feasible reason for him to leave Bond behind!!!
That dude should have been FIRED
I've never seen that in any version of the film I've watched. I'll have to look out for that in future - maybe it was added in by the TV Station for consistency?...
Also, when we first meet the girls and we see them giggling to each other in the backseat (and Bond looks uncomfortable), there were subtitles added there too-- they were saying something like 'he has funny hair, look at his big nose, etc" or something to that effect. That's not on my DVD either but I definitely remember seeing it on TV. Weird how they do that
Yeah, I thought that he didn't say anything because he was summing things up to himself, like: hmmm, so that's what is being said, that's the direction they are taking with me. Like he knew no matter what he said at that point, MI6 was putting him in the wrong frame. I see him as just thinking, calculating, and moving on. Didn't waste his breath explaining that when the bigger picture was looming.
