Cripes! It looks like someone shouted BOO! behind him! The cinema would have laughed Dalton out of the film!

Wow, that was awesome! I wish that gunbarrel had been kept! Much more lively than the one we got.

Looks like they tried different things to choose the best one from and throw the rest in the garbage, including this one.

That one was awful, thank god they went with the right one for the film.

    It just doesn't compare.

    ;-)

Yeah, I prefer the 'real' one as well. I had seen this one before though. And oh my, that jump from right to left, it's as if Bond saw a mouse and jumped up.
  • Cool! There should be a dance move named after that. B-)

I'd love to see Brosnan's first gun barrel. The one that appears in his films was reshot as the initial was not liked by Broccoli, Wilson and Campbell. It's out there somewhere.

I hope Craig reshots his for Bond 23, or at least get rid of that awful gun barrel effect they had thanks to MK12. I want to see what Daniel Kleinman will do.

Glad they didn't go with that one. Would have been the second worse gunbarrel of the franchise. Not a fan of the jerking action.

Can it be you´re mixing things up? CR had a rather different gun barrell effect. MK12 went for the traditional gun barrell effect in QoS.

  • I'm very glad they didn't opt fot the alternative version, it wouldn't have suited Dalton's cool serious Bond at all!! Interesting to see it though.

No, I definitely mean what MK12 did for Quantum Of Solace. I really don't like the outer surface of the gun barrel.

Maybe Kleinman will give us something more like Casino Royale, which I actually prefer, if he returns for Bond 23. He better by the way...

Wow, and that really is it?

If so I can see what Wilson meant when he said of Brosnan of "not liking his stance".

How long have you had that @MartinBond?

Weird. I had to run it twice. The first time I thought he turned into a Bond girl.
  • Wow...at first I thought it would be a tribute to the Bob Simmons gunbarrel. Interesting idea, but...wow. The execution just killed it. Maybe if they had done a "smaller" version of the jump or the lean...
  • I don't like it at all...at least Simmons landed kinda evenly!

Lol he jumps halfway across the screen, it's terrible. They got it right with the one that is in the final film (and LTK).
