But also have a close look at the scores for "Moonraker" and "Thunderball", which got into the TOP 5 without too many problems. Although "Moonraker" never got a top mark of 12. David Arnold's score for "Tomorrow Never Dies" seems to be the favourite score of the forummembers. And it's the highest ranked non-Barry score.
Only one other David Arnold score made it into the TOP 15: David Arnold's score for "Casino Royale". Rounding up the TOP 15 is Thomas Newman's score for "SkyFall". The unofficial score for the 1967 spoof "Casino Royale" scored better than the scores for the official films for "Doctor No" and "Die Another Day".
Here are the detailed results in Excel-format, which I transferred to .jpg images:

And here's a color graph of the results (the more 'green', the higher a score got ranked):
So, let the discussion begin! A fair result ;-)? And how will Thomas Newman's score for "SPECTRE" fit in this ranking? Does it earn a spot in the TOP 10? What do you think of David Arnold's wonderful result for "Tomorrow Never Dies"? Let me know.
I'm personally sad to see OP rated so low but other than that I'd say the top 6 just so happens to feature Barry's six personal best soundtracks so no complaints here.
I watched OHMSS last night as part of my SPECTRE countdown and there isn't one foot wrong with the scoring throughout the entire film. A worthy winner.
I think "OP" has a lovely score. It's very.....esoteric, mild and mellow for one's ears. It has this beautiful Far East/Arabian/Indian flavour. Still, I think it lacked some...'punch'.
I am especially glad "TB" and "OP" did so well. Andddd, very important, I am glad to see a more or less 'confirmation' that Arnold's score for "TND" truly was his best Bond score. "SF" deserved to be at least in the TOP 15, and it managed to do just that.
Why didn't you vote :-P! The topic was open for such a long time :-P.
I'm also glad to see GF, TB and AVTK made a solid Top-10 ranking. Recently watched TLD again and John Barry definitely went out with a bang!
