    I imagine it’s a working title (and perhaps the holding company’s name as well? I dunno, haven’t looked for it since this news).

    Often times there will be decoy titles, as well as decoy scripts.

    I’d be surprised if this was the actual title for the upcoming film (since, as far as anyone knows, there is t even an outline yet for the new film).

    Once these awful strikes conclude, I hope things start being announced from Eon HQ!

    If Daniel Craig's name alone is used in the Producer credits, if he is somehow involved with the production in one way or another; just that credit alone is good marketing for the franchise.

    By the time Sean Connery was done with the series, he left in such a way that for many fans the later films without SC felt like bastard films to some since every actor is inherently different. Daniel Craig knew the best way was not to imitate looks but to emulate the feeling you'd get from SC when you couldn't tell if he was always the good guy. He made it convincing he was able to 00 stuff and wasn't a guy in a tuxedo being slick.

    If Craig is a producer, I’ll buy everyone here a round of virtual drinks (I just don’t see it happening; even if he wanted to, I think it’d be unfair to the new actor)

    Honestly I wouldn’t want Craig to stick around as producer. A clean start means no connections to Craig’s tenure, so having him produce the films is a no from me.

    I wouldn’t mind Craig to be a producer. But it doesn’t have to be sine qua non for me. If he keeps on bringing talent with his name, that’d be grand; I seriously doubt he would interfere much, narrative wise, for example. He’d just serve as a quality stamp and a facilitator of sorts. Probably.

    Beyond excited to hear about B26 getting moving!

    I guess one of the biggest variables at this point is: how far along did P&W get with the script before the writer's strike?

    I imagine not very far outside of an outline, if that…. They have to be paid, even for an outline, and in order for that to happen, a holding company has to be opened. All money goes into it, all payments are taken out of it. To date, I don’t think that has happened unless this is the name of that company, or a variation of this name (as their LLC or LTD).

    Since Eon's been moving away from the gun logo in recent years, I doubt they are going to put "bullets" in the title.

    Just my two cents.

    "Bullets for Winter" could end up being a better title than what they go with. In any case it is a major step in the right direction that Imdb has it listed finally.

    Bullets for Winter sounds like a homage to IceBreaker by John Gardner. I still think some of the continuation novels deserve a movie treatment.

    I strangely like that title of On M’s Orders. Could EON take inspiration from Dynamite Comics and bring back classic villains, not just Blofeld? Mr. Big, Goldfinger and Oddjob could have good modern day screen adaptations. Just no alternate or code-names please, EON. Eidolon, Hammerhead, and even Felix Leiter could be good adaptions for EON’s future.

    As for the idea itself, i think that, if done correctly, it could work, i mean, Jaws appeared in Everything or Nothing, so why not?

    This is a another reason why I think EON will bring back a classic villain, other than for sure Blofeld. My generation is a nostalgic one, and Bond has many fans have fond memories that they want to relive. Plus, it seems that since Raymond Benson took over writing the books, every author (minus Boyd and Solo) since then has brought back a classic Ian Fleming character. EON finally took this chance when they got back the legal rights to Blofeld and Spectre. I’m not saying that it should happen, I just feel with a reboot, it could happen.

    Same here, it’d be proof that EON doesn’t want to move on and take risks. Plus, I think DC wants to do other things.

    They've hinted at it - there's the old fan rumour that the bloke whose Range Rover Craig 'parked' in CR was Goldfinger and there's at least a chance that Safin was originally meant to be Dr. No. Maybe they'll actually bite the bullet during the next guy's run.

    The only one I'd like them to do would be Scaramanga: and the Eon version rather than Fleming's. Because although Lee was obviously great, I think he had more potential than the film delivered.
