One of the things I immediately thought of with the announcement was how many of the legacy crew members will actually crossover onto Amazon’s takeover. Will Daniel Kleinman still do the titles? Is Alexander Witt gonna do second unit? Chris Corbould still do practical miniature effects? Dennis Gassner for production design?

We may see the largest production turnover since GE.

all depends on how much Amazon is willing to pay.

I think it depends on how clean a slate Amazon wants after fighting with Eon for several years. I'm guessing: completely clean!

If you hire Nolan you hire his team. Nothing strange here...

Would Nolan make a Bond film virtually incomprehensible ? Out of temporal sequence ?

Maybe he will make his version of Octopussy.

The Craig era seemed to wander with no direction and then retroactively attempted to create a story arc to tie it all together. I hope that the next incarnation doesn’t repeat this.

The stories always seem to wander because Craig never committed to anything long-term past Skyfall (since he was only originally contracted for 3 films) and Barbara was always waiting around to see if he would come back.

I think Amazon needs to lock in an actor for at least 4 movies

I think we have already seen how things will be different as Bezo's himself asked "Who do think the new Bond should be". Goofy as that was and unproductive in the end result, when was the last time Eon did something like that?

The closest scenario I remember was Entertainment Tonight, and one other show, (Hard Copy, maybe) having 1-900 polls on who should play Bond after Dalton. Pierce pretty won by a landslide as the other actors were Liam Neeson, Mel Gibson and Hugh Grant.

Mel Gibson would have been very expensive to cast. Some huge amount, I guess. Gibson was a big A lister in the 1990s. Brosnan was just the right guy at the right time (unless you wanted Dalton back!). 😉
