    *flash forward*But SPECTRE surprised me most by how much I dug it! I knew I'd love it, but I couldn't anticipate how MUCH!

    For me there have been a few films (and now one tv show) that made me super excited and they strongly happen to be once a year starting really in 2005

    2005 batman begins ( was so happy batman was back after such a wait since 1998's batman and robin)
    2006 Casino Royale (I read the book was on he official site at least 2-3 times a day also on the IMDb message board just couldn't wait)
    2007 live free or die hard (and it was a really good film)
    2008 Quantum of Solace and the dark knight (both films were excellent sequels)
    Sadly there wasn't anything in 2009 it really was a rough year personally
    2010 the A-team ( yeah was super excited for this one
    2011 captain America first avenger which was quite a good film and Mission Impossible Ghost protocal which was fantastic
    2012 he dark knight rises and Skyfall was excited for both and sadly let down by both
    2013 a good day to die hard yeah this was also sadly a let down
    2014 captain America the winter soldier and Godzilla two brilliant films
    2015 Spectre and Mission impossible rogue nation bond slightly disappointed me again but Cruise was great in Rogue nation
    2016 Batman v Superman (a brilliant brilliant film) and Macgyver (tv show and I have been waiting for this since 2000 so excited)

    I didn t look much forward to The Empire Strikes Back (or Star Wars 2 as it was called) as it seemed like a massive letdown after Star Wars. Then it came out and I was completely blown away.

    Return of the Jedi (or Revenge of the Jedi as it was first called)may be one of the films I looked forward to the most. Then it came out and was such a disappointment.
