Octopussy, welcome once again. It takes time to get used to but if you really want to dip your toes in, you should find the new layout alright. We've lost a few members along the way but some old faces do remain as well as some great newer members.

I hope you decide to join us.

  • Hi MI6 folk,
Just posting to say have finally decided to stop watching and start talking! Have been a big Bond fan since I was small and saw my first Bond on UK t.v. Favourite Bond films are From Russia, Goldfinger, Diamonds (controversial?!) On Her Majesty's (even more controversial??) The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, Living Daylights, Goldeneye, Casino Royale (2006) and Quantum. Really looking forward to Skyfall...
    see you

Welcome @PeterFranks. Having On Her Majesty's Secret Service on the favourites list is not controversial at all, in fact I believe it is a favourite for the majority of the members here (me included).

Indeed. FRWL, CR, and OHMSS seem to be the biggest majority of favorites around these parts... <):)

I finally found a situation where I could finally use the cowboy emoticon.

    Hi all,
New around here, big Bond fan from Scotland in my teens. Favourite Bond films are Octopussy (controversial?), Goldfinger,Liscence To Kill (again quite controversial), FRWL, YOLT and Casino Royale; in that order at the minute. Counting down to Skyfall, looks really quite good.
    Cheers.

Good to meet you @JrW_008! Hope you get to stay around for a long time and become a regular! By the way, it's nice to see FRWL and LTK in your top 5!

    Thank you, you too.
Yeah, I hope to stick around. James Bond is something/someone I have a great interest and passion for, and it's nice I've found a place where I can join discussions wit others who feel the same. Much more civil and friendly than Facebook and Twitter if you ask me.
Thanks again for the warm welcome.

Thanks @JBFan626 and @Sandy. Octopussy is preparing for a 'favourite Bond film' title defence as I go off to watch License to Kill for only the second time, the first placing it 3rd in my rankings, as it pushes to end Octopussy's spell at the top. I make it sound like a sporting event! Anyways, off I go.
    Cheers

Thank you @Samuel001. It appears I mistook some of LTK with TLD and vise versa, and as a result LTK slipped out of the top 10, instead of challenging for the best.Oops...

    Hi guys,
Not exactly sure what to put but the general idea seems to be favourite films. Die Another Day has to be up there, it was my first Bond at the cinema. I'm looking forward to Skyfall and the return of Q is great.

Ok, ok, I may not be Whishaw, but Q still is a legend.
