New members - introduce yourself

Hi all, new to the forum, though I have followed on and off for a few years. Long time Bond fan of both the films and the books. My favorite Bond changes but top three would be: Connery, Dalton and Craig.

I'm based in Oxford, UK and do a little creative writing in my spare time. One of the projects which I have just completed is The Death Collector, a James Bond screenplay set in Kenya. I would love some feedback from members on here if anyone would like to read it.

Here is the synopsis:

After clashing with Bond, a high level CIA operative withholds information about an imminent attack on a British target somewhere around the world. Using his wits to discover the target, Bond heads to Nairobi to pressure a beautiful British national-turned-terrorist. In Kenya, the sins of the past collide with the enemies of the present and nothing is quite as it seems.

Its a beautiful city and there are some great people here. But the University dominates and can be quite elitist which is to the detriment of ordinary folk at times. Its also what makes the city special too. On the whole I love living here.

HI, Lleiter63 here. Big fan of Felix and of James too.
Long ago my best friend and I fell in love with them both and started writing our own stories about them and other spies.
This caused me some trouble when i was caught shoplifting a fifty cent belt in a mall somewhere and they wanted to know why I had all these addresses of the US Secret Service and so on in my notebook.
First time I have ever told anyone that!
Is there a book coming on about Felix Leiter?

Yep I figured there were some cops here. I don't think my one shoplifting attempt is still something they want me for though.

Wonder why no one ever did a Leiter novel (without graphics, I mean)?

Hello. :) my name is Agnieszka, but you can call me Agnes for short. I'm 20 years old and originally from Krakow in Poland but I moved to Manchester in the UK aged six. I fell in love with Bond after watching Skyfall and I've since watched all of the films and read all of the books! @barryt007 Hi Barry, thankyou! It is yes, I just think it's so elegant, everything fits so well. Great villain, great theme song, great performance from Daniel Craig. Sean Connery is my favourite Bond though, he just has so much confidence.

I think most members fall in love with the first Bond they see at the cinema @Agnes_007 ..mine has always been OP.

@barryt007 True, I think the first one has definitely stuck with me. I loved Octopussy when I watched it too. I might have to go on another Bond marathon soon to decide on my definite favourites. :-?
