Interesting snapshot, while not a direct correlation, some indication of the age demographic here. You would think those born in 1995-2000 would have had CR as their first bond film. But only a couple, indicating that we don't have many 20-25 year olds on the forum, unless they got exposed to Bond from their parents and seeing an earlier film before their first cinematic experience. Seems like the overwhelming majority are in the 30-40 year age range with GE being triple more than any other film.

Very interesting that Diamonds is the 2nd. I remember after first seeing GE and then seeing the VHS as the rental store that Diamonds are Forever had a 'cool' title and being drawn to the cover artwork.

My first Bond was You Only Live Twice but that was because of the N64 GoldenEye game. I read an article in a magazine about it and then saw a trailer for YOLT on TV and decided to watch it.

I believe my GF was already counted, but my post has been deleted. So, though I will not update the stats, I want to go on record that one of those GFs are mine. 1965 or '66.

My first Bond film was in 1967, in the cinema... and it was a triple bill! Thunderball (the then-current release,) Dr. No and Goldfinger all in one glorious afternoon. Shown in that order, if memory serves. So TB is my first, unless the scorekeepers want to give 1/3 of a point to each of the three. That would give us...

And BTW, I held off on seeing You Only Live Twice in the cinema during its initial release, hoping (fruitlessly) for a double bill that paired YOLT with FRWL.

The first Bond movie I ever watched was Goldfinger with my Dad...early 80s...and I immediately fell in love with the Aston Martin DB5, as well with the character of Bond, but I definitely have not shut up about that car since then.
