    This wouldn't work as Fleming wrote Bond mostly in the 50's and the films as we know started in the 60's and was only in these time periods due to when they was written and events and the world at the time played as themes in the books and films. Personally I would stay in the present and use themes from the 60's early 70's.

    The huge expense is setting them in the 60s would be prohibitive.
