Good to know, thanks for the info.

Nothing alarmist or worrying to keep the casual audience away.

That's a good sign! Like someone saying back in '77 that TSWLM isn't "nearly as good" as TMWTGG.

Negative from Financial Times

I remember finding both Gravity and The Artist hugely overated despite glowing reviews
Yeah; bottom line is you have to see the movie to know if it's "good" or "bad", at least in your eyes. Gravity bored me; never saw The Artist.
The artist was a one trick pony but there were parts that really worked well.
But anyway it's true; there are plenty of films I agree and disagree on with the critics. Considering most Bond films through the years have garnered mediocre/only decent reception, the few negative reviews of Spectre don't bother me.
LOL, what should they do, kill M again?
Right, I think us Bond fans will have a blast with Spectre. So far i liked everything i read, even in the negative reviews.
Sounds like some of those critics can't process the fact that Spectre is trying to be as oldschool bond as possible, with some cheeky humor, macho antics and slight sexism... But that is EXACTLY what i want from my bond expirience.
People saying this movie is 'not deep enough' have no idea what a Bond movie is supposed to be about. I don't need another OHMSS every 3 years. Craig already has two 'deep' classics depending on who you ask. I wanted the Fun back in Bond for a long time
Lots of agreement here. Part of what makes films like OHMSS and SF unique IS the emotional depth; it's supposed to be an anomaly in the series. Glad to see this should be a more straightforward, classic turn for Craig. Don't get me wrong - OHMSS and SF are two of my favorites, but I think we're due for an old-school type Bond film again.
Yeah. From the trailers, I was expecting quite a dark, brooding kind of film but it looks like they've gone in the opposite direction and now I'm quite excited in a different way. Funnily enough from the very same "lacks the emotional punch" Digital Spy review, there's this quote :
"Spectre will go down as Craig's stab at going full-blown BOND - big, bold and a bit more like Roger Moore."
Furthermore various critics complain about glaring plot holes.
To make up for this obviously there will be a lot of elaborate action.
Really sounds like Skyfall Part 2 peppered with action but with even more ridiculous plot lines. Not sure that's a good thing.
By the way, 3 years ago the newspapers almost dissolved dripping of the critics drool over Skyfall.
Waltz' performance doesn't get much praise if any in practically all of the reviews.
I've re-read some of the Skyfall reviews. That's like day and night compared to what is written now. Oh well.

Why don't you include Metacritics and Rotten Tomatoes standings as well, would be interesting data :)
Metacritic stands at 70
RT at 89%, 7.2 out of 10 critics average rating.
As someone who's read the script, I really don't know what plot holes they are talking about
Me neither
Translated summary:

The site will release their own review next Tuesday.

I have just updated it :-). But I won't include the RottenTomatoes and MetaCritics ratings just yet. It's too early days. There really need to be more -at least +50- reviews coming in. Otherwise I am getting crazy updating them :-P.
