Can you change your user name ?

I was wondering if there was any way of changing your user name ?

    I think you would have to message or email MI6 and request it with your reason for the change. It used to be discouraged to prevent an avalanche of similar requests, but you can certainly try.

    I always wanted to change my username (as it was chosen on a whim), but now I'm nearly 3.7k posts in, I think it would be more trouble than it's worth.

    True, if it's too much trouble, I suppose I could just join
    again under my chosen name ?

    Oh no, I don't mean techincally wise.

    It's just that now I've used this alias for more than two years now, I suppose I've come to know members - there is a sense of familiarity. It's probably sentimentality.

    Any ideas of what you would change it to?

    another forum, that I'm very fond of, but I've decided to leave it,
    As it's become full of people knocking the films, rather than, being
    really positive about them. MI6, seems to be a much more positive
    forum. So ideally if I could use my old name, it would just feel perfect.
    Almost like a football transfer. :))

    I thought that something had happened over on AJB. I think there's usually an influx of negativity on Bond forums from new members (and sometimes even old members) every time a new James Bond film hits the cinemas!
