"So why don't you all just do the rest of us a favour and f**king hang yourselves?"

Because you get bonus points for doing god's work in this World in the form of virgins. Remember years ago, the guys who drove a load of gas canisters into Glasgow airport? One of them had tissue paper soaked in water wrapped around his genitals. This was to ensure they would not be burnt in the fire so they would be in good condition for the virgins. This shows you what kind of children we are dealing with here. Its the equivalent of leaving a glass of milk for Santa Claws. In their own delusional world, this is actually happening. It is reality (for them) and we have find a way of dealing with this.

That's what I would think too. But odd if that did happen, why it isn't mentioned. Instead all the reports say they walked in through the main entrance. No mention of security guards etc, simply nothing. Unless for some reason, there isn't any security there that night. But for a known American rock band performance? Again, odd.

Despite the sheer gruesomeness and idiocy of this scenario, I had to have a small chuckle. Stupidity defined.

Religion isn't the reason, but it certainly is the tool.

If it's not the reason, what is?

    @Ludovico
I honestly believe the madmen at the top of this game aren't into it for the sake of their belief. They use religion to get the pawns to blow themselves up but they themselves want power. They want to keep the maggots in line. And they want to hurt the West.

You've got to be shitting me??

Although to be fair I guess it makes sense. 70 odd virgins would be a tough ask for the best of men and even harder with a singed helmet.

Also, it is strictly forbidden to kill yourself, unless you take infidels with you.

One consequence of those attacks will be a gain for the Front National in the upcoming regional elections here. I wouldn't be surprised if some regions fall under their control. After all (in addition to the Left going divided into battle, 9/11 was a major factor in Le Pen managing to get to the second round of the presidential elections in 2002.

Well, I was right. Look at this map :

    actu.orange.fr/politique/regionales-2015-la-carte-des-resultats-magic_CNT000000gdKGa.html

It's april 21st all over again. We'll see what happens in the second round, but I'm not at all optimistic.

    Are you implying some conspiracy?

If some guys turn up with guns I doubt that even the hard nut security on the door would provide much resistance. Any way, it was a medium sized gig, not a stadium show. How much security are they realistically going to have?

The French government has announced the idea of blocking public WiFi as part of anti-terrorist laws.

    How does that help exactly?

Well, I was right. Look at this map :

In the town where the attacks happened, Paris, the score of Le Pen is at the lowest.

How it somehow "proves" that the attacks helped le Pen will remain a mystery I guess !

Or maybe the French outside Paris love the Paris inhabitants. Now that's a scoop :)

It seems that this morning a man stabbed a teacher in Aubervilliers while shouting he was from ISIS.
  • Maybe he was disgusted by the fact the right wing didn't win any election and that the free Wifi censorship turned out to be an unfounded rumor ?

As it is a less sinister affair, this one I can discuss it : please tell me who heard the "teacher stabbed" news in France on their local news ? And who heard a few hours later the teacher admitted making up the whole story ?

Didn't hear of either one until I saw it here. But I haven't watched TV today yet.

A teacher craving attention, his stupid actions should be punished. Making this sh&t up is not doing anybody any good.

So what's the score at this point? According to the media, IS is losing ground, important leaders, ... Is this true and do we have to take this as a glimmer of hope?

Hope is overrated anyway. You accomplish nothing with hope. It sucks, but that's the way it goes. If IS is losing ground fine. Let's keep working on that and on making a stand for secular society.

Oh I'm fighting for a secular society, @Ludovico, to the point where some of my students' parents complain about me in the principal's office.

Good man! Keep up the good work and you will one day get your reward in heaven.

Well not actually. But you take my point.

I used to work as a teaching assistant in schools in the UK, secular schools. The term "secular" was to say the least misleading: there was assembly prayers, lead by the local vicar, sometimes even the head teacher.
