Police found a 9th body one kilometer from the shopping mall, they are investigating now if this is another vicitm or the gunman who might have killed himself.
Don't know what you're talking about.
Clearly you have some rather troubling issues with a girl called Erica but I hardly think this is the thread in which to explore them.
Is there now some kind of proof for 'them' being 'keen on far right mentalists'? I haven't heard about that anywhere else but here. Sounds like BS to me.
Still don't know what you're on about but don't let that stop you.
There's no proof for anything at present just theories. They're just basing it on the fact that today is the 5th anniversary of the Norway attacks.
Try watching the news instead of crying into your pillow about how Erica shagged your best mate. If you use this thread as your primary news outlet it's no wonder you're, as Le Chiffre might say, a little confused.
Strikes me you seem to lack a lot of knowledge for somebody so knowledgeable.
So are 'they' (who?) now 'keen' on giving this the Breivik spin or was that just your friendly and unbiased interpretation? You don't make it quite clear, ya know.
I use some other means to follow this, that's why I get a bit angry when I detect that strong aroma of BS in the air. Like you trying to stick this to your favourite bogey woman Angela. You know, she must have been awfully cruel to you and your ego. But that surely doesn't justify you try to make her responsible for the 'all the world's ills.'
Just citing your words, E ooops, sorry. Maybe you should heed your own advice, ya know, about pillows and crying and what Merkel did to your best friend. Just a thought.
EDIT: There are also conflicting reports of a gunman insulting foreigners and Turks.
Situation seems to be Under control now
Munic Police said on Twitter that it looks like the gunman was acting alone and killed himself.
Press conference will be Held in 10 minutes
Edit:
Suspect is 18 year old german-iran male.
Supposedly born in Munich.
They will probably find a Video or some note in his home where He declares his affiliation with isis.
Oh dear.
I've got nothing more to say as you are clearly rather troubled as this frothing little rant shows:
'Oh my.......so sorry, Erica, I didn't know it was really you! OK, so I could have guessed no two people on this planet would use the same nasty stink of crazy xenophobia and Merkel-hate as remedy for their inferiority complexes. But you can't blame me for hinting that you are here, of all places. How could I have known that? After all the nasty things you had to say about "sixbook" and how you felt the mods here are all bossy egomaniacs? Whatever, hope you can forgive me for hinting to Brian you are also here, seeing how you are now so particularly chummy. Another surprise after I read how ugly you've been to the guy only a little while ago. Glad to see you two are so chummy now. Have a lovely day, Erica. And you should really stop gnashing your teeth, that's very unbecoming when one already has a nasty face to begin with. ;)'
Does a well man post this as his profile? Just click on @Campbell2's name above to read it for yourself folks (but quick before he changes it and blames me, Erica, for slandering him).
Definitely a 'before turning the gun on himself' headline in waiting.
Nonetheless apologies in allowing myself to be drawn into this bear baiting and derailing the thread.

Why so shy, Ambler? Normally you're not the squeamish kind (when you're not pulling a diva act), you even take us on the odd drinking bout with you when it serves the purpose of derailing a thread.
But back on topic.
Why don't you enlighten us as to how exactly Angela Merkel's 'hubris' added to this act? You would certainly know, just a page ago you were fairly sure about it (and I definitely detected some flapping noises when you wrote that.) Would you be terribly affronted if I called that BS?
Also I still wonder who was 'keen' on giving this a far right spin. Much as I look, I only found one guy keen on something. You. Did I miss something there?
Waiting eagerly for your no doubt erudite answers.
Merkel's immigration stance is bound to play into fears of foreigners in Germany. Any country which receives several immigrants from one area, at a time when terrorist attacks are occurring in Europe, is bound to encounter hostilities from within. That's just common sense.
The anti‑immigrant Alternative for Germany (AfD) party has seen some recent gains. Hans-Georg Maassen, head of Germany’s domestic intelligence agency, has said that ISIL/Daesh has deliberately planted jihadists among the migrants flowing into Europe. My understanding is that Riaz Khan, the recent train attacker, lied on his asylum application about his identity and nationality.
The only other approach perhaps is to inflict a catastrophic blow to Daesh/ISIL on home turf, but sadly that will also most probably result in massive loss of innocent lives in that area, because they are so embedded into the population. It will inevitably lead to more hatred.
Moreover, what's the alternative for leadership in that area once they are terminated? There are absolutely no democratic institutions, and post-war 'nation building' has generally failed. Theological approaches tend to be the most able to survive. An alternative might be to come up with some approach to get the rich countries in the area to develop their own coordinated 'Marshall Plan', but I don't see that happening either. It's just one big destabilized screw up.
Ok congratulations this particular attack has very little to do with Angela as he's just turned out to be a common or garden mental case rather than a terrorist. I made the swift assumption (like 99.99% of people, even you my learned friend) that the script was the usual Islamic nutter gone off on one for Allah. I lost my money this time but at the terrorist casino if you keep betting on Islam you win a a lot more times than you lose. You want to go double or quits that the next terrorist atrocity is from Islamists? You put a fiver up I'll put up a fifty, winner takes all. Easy money.
As for Angela's hubris. This time she got away with it but anyone who thinks ISIS haven't taken advantage of the 'come one, come all' borders policy she instigated to send dozens of 'agents' in amongst the genuine refugees is naive in the extreme/a Jeremy Corbyn supporter (same thing really). Again only a matter of time before that bet comes up as well.
The BBC spent the evening desperately trying to avoid saying the 'I' word so this far right connection was a godsend for them.
You evidently did miss something. I understand that you don't consider me a reputable source for this but are you still getting the same whiff of BS since the Munich police have confirmed it
I can understand your eagerness given you have decided I am your nemesis Erica and your life seems to have no other meaning so I'm happy for you that this, in the grand scheme of things, utterly pointless collection of words I have quickly knocked out while waiting for the bus is of consequence to you. Ta muchly for your continuing patronage. It's nice to know one has fans out there waiting on tenterhooks and trembling with excitement as they sit down to read your latest post.
Isn't it the case that a large proportion of Islamist attacks are perpetrated by home-grown radicals? With the internet being such a hot bed of indoctrination, surely it's a little short sited to assume that closing the borders and alienating an entire race of people will solve anything? We're fighting an idea, it's not a physical army that can be stopped at the border or defeated in battle. I wish there was a simple answer, but I really think that vilifying the Muslim people is just going to further their disenfranchisement and breed radicalisation.
My best friend is a Muslim, and the utter shite he's had to put up with recently because of the colour of his skin is really depressing. I'm not making any excuses for terrorists or Islam itself, but is it any wonder that they feel such resentment against a society that treats them with contempt? We need to be building bridges, not putting up walls.
Muslims aren't a race.
behead him for your " beautiful religious " beliefs. :D
Really says a lot that you only chose to respond to that part of my post. And you're actually wrong; under British law, religious groups fall under protected identities within the Race Relations Act. So discrimination against a Muslim is, by definition, racism. Besides, for a lot of the Muslims that I've met, their religion is more a matter of identity than it is an actual doctrine to live by - like Britain's millions of Anglicans who have never set foot in a church.
Mendes, would you actually advocate discrimination against a person because of the religion they subscribe to?
Undoubtedly true. Pretty much all of them. So far.
Isn't it equally short sighted to welcome in without question anybody from a country where this indoctrination and hatred is at its strongest?
It's a very nice idea to build bridges. But why is the onus always on us to do that? People are free to practice their religion as they see fit, the law does not discriminate between Muslim and non Muslim, Tesco have an halal counter, the media shrinking fear at showing cartoons of the prophet, my local Subway has a poster saying it doesn't serve pork salami or bacon but turkey variations etc etc.
What other bridges do you suggest we build? Sharia law superceding the law of the land?
Go to a Muslim country and see how far you get asking for a special bacon counter in the supermarket or wearing a bikini on the beach. We have to have total respect for their culture but I just don't see that coming in the other direction. You only have to look at how many Muslims in this country after the Charlie Hebdo attacks were interviewed saying 'yes killing them was wrong but they really shouldn't have made fun of the prophet'.
I'm sorry for your friend and yes saying all Muslims are terrorists is as wrong as it is stupid. But equally stupid is denying that the terrorist threat we face is completely incidental to Islam.
I definitely agree that we are too timid when confronting the teachings of Islam. I think that simply responding to every attack with platitudes that "terrorism has no religion" obviously ignores the fact that terrorism usually does have an explicitly religious motivation, and as long as we ignore that then we're never going to be able to challenge the ideology head on. It's very easy for someone to say "you ain't no Muslim bruv", but the reality is that, as far as the Islamists themselves are concerned, they are as Muslim as they come.
However, I do understand the reluctance, particularly among those of us on the left, to direct fire at Islam as an abstract concept, because it's inevitably siezed upon as justification by every racist in the land, and it's people like my mate who suffer for it. I don't wish the justify the practices of Sharia states or the text in the Koran, but it is true that the overwhelming majority of Muslims in the West just want to get on with their lives in peace.
The truth is I don't know what we should do. It's clear that we have to do something to challenge the ideology that is poisoning the minds of young men across Europe. But I really believe that division and hatred just plays into the hands of the people who wish to cause us harm. If we turn away Muslim people who need our help simply because of their religion or where they come from, then they're going to look elsewhere for a sense of purpose.
You mentioned typing at a bus stop a few stops back!
Forgive, I did not know, that many of your ravings were created in such conditions Bravo!
Friend Ludovico posts from his lair in the dusty musts of Castle Dracula, others maybe steal time from work, but you I thought, were like most of us, feverishly pounding away on home desktop or laptop.
Me I pretty much wait till I get home to my trusty desktop. I don't even like typing on a lap top and I've given up trying to type on the cellphone when out and about, other than text messaging. Considering the vital nature of message board posting, the smart phone challenges and mobile limitations do not seem appropriate for the gravitas of the task at hand.
I can't imagine @graves or @BondJames hammer out their lengthy missives from anything other than sturdy stable locations...but you ripping out your patented rants and ravings from a bus-stop. That is awesome!
But I am not home much at the moment, going thru a demanding work phase, so I don't post much, but I wonder what is this bus-stop method you use that overcomes not being home.
Lap top? Tablet. Just wondering. Any particular brand or preferred keyboard?
Also what are you guys going on about re Erica Ambler. There is no way that you and the famous former member Erica Ambler, one of the giants of the old Mi6 days, who now posts else, are the same person.
I am confused. Ambler is a Bond Board God of yore. One of the smartest, sharpest guys you will ever "meet." You are no slouch yourself but you and Ambler are not the same person?
As for the terrorists. Yes I will weigh in. We are at war and under attack. So we have to fight back.
We need border security and we need an concerted intelligence effort.
The ground and air wars against ISIL forces are helpful but they don't address the domestic issues.
The terrorists are being whipped into action by web postings. From an intelligence perspective, and I'm sure M and Tanner would agree, the puppet masters and their web networks must be identified and destroyed
We are Bond fans. We know this. You got to take out the generals directing the attacks from afar. Its precision intelligence and espionage work.
The double O section need be mobilized once targets can be identified.
I am sure this work is going on now but it needs to be continued with conviction.
A Lonely Eighteen Year Old Troubled Soul that was Rejected By The Ignorants Around Himself wanted to set the world on fire as they the Antagonists that felt themeselves to be The Better One's did not stop harrasing him behind his back, because of what they were afraid of..as they were IGNORANT..!.. and could not accept him..!..They created Their Own Terror..!?..And Got A Return On That..!

The genius of Islam. It is a race, a culture, a religion... It is infinitely malleable when it needs to be. The sooner people start treating it as a fucking joke (along with all other ideologies) the better. Saying, 'I have a mate who's a Muslim and it's really hard for him' is besides the point. We live in the 21st century. If you believe in fairy stories you have to accept that people will treat you with justifiable contempt.
