    I too agree with @SJK91.
Brosnan was better at the physicality of Bond in fighting etc but
I do love Sir Roger as 007.

For me the evaluation of any Bond actor is how well his films hold up years later after repeated viewings.

Good actors and good films improve with age. One really never tires of watching a good actor in a good film. For me, when it comes to Bond films, do I look forward to seeing a film I have seen countless times? Or do I skip some, or turn them off because they cease to engage me.

I like Brosnan as an actor, but his Bonds I have seen the least number of times. Other than a few stunts, his films don't compel me to rewatch them.

Moore, I have always resented--because he wasn't Connery. LALD is my favorite, perhaps because he had yet to find that smug portrayal that became his trademark.

I choose Moore for one film over Brosnan for whom I choose no films.

Over the years I've probably seen GE more times than I have all the other films combined - seriously. I can recite the dialogue to that film on command.

Roger Moore for me - I'm a fan. I think he was better at playing Bond and is a lot better actor than he's ever given credit for. This is due in no small part to how easy and effortless he makes everything look. Don't be fooled by that...

Brosnan is an actor. Moore is a retired personality. Brosnan played bond, or tried to. Moore played himself

That last bit I think is most accurate when describing Moore in MR.

To portray Yourself and play with the concept, is an accepted form of acting. As
an Amateur actor, I Have often played with myself ! :D

At least it was the most symbolic of what was to come the following years.

Brosnan's performances were too self conscious. Moore, on the other hand, became Bond in his performances. His turns might not be to the taste of some people, but he was James Bond.

That thought has often crossed my mind.

Start as you mean to go on and all that...

Hehe just watched it two nights in a row, because the first night my disc seemed damaged since the sound went of a few times but then the next time it played perfectly fine.

Anyway out of topic does anyone could tell me what should i do ?
Buy a new blueray player or get another goldeneye copy.im really confused it has hsppened to me with two Bond discs a view to kill and now goldeneye.

The first time the movie was failing but the next time played perfectly fine.
Or does it involve rain or interent connection?

How is it that same movie one day gives lots of troubles and the next is like nothing

Could be dirt/dust on the disc itself or in the player. A hair in the player near the lens that reads the disc could also make trouble.

No need to buy a new player or discs.

But if that happens regularly with other films too, then it could be a mechanical error in the player.
Just try other films and see how often it happens.

    Thanks so much.
Yes maybe its just dirt or dust since it hasn't happened with other movies just two from my Bond 50 collection which makes me quite angry since it look some time to gind just to see 2 discs damaged.

I thought it was a little scratch because the package it came in wasn't the most safe but maybe it was just some dirt it got

Brosnan's performances were too self conscious. Moore, on the other hand, became Bond in his performances. His turns might not be to the taste of some people, but he was James Bond.

Tbh I rarely felt that Moore really became Bond even in his better performances. He always seemed confident (something that Brosnan did struggle with sometimes) but there was usually that element of Moore first and Bond second. I can only think of two genuine moments from his where I said to myself "That IS Bond". The first was the scene when Anya confronts him in TSWLM and the second was when he killed Grishca in OP ("and that's for 009").

-Didn't believe him as Bond in MR
-Didn't buy him as Bond in most of AVTAK.

I'm split on LALD and MWTGG.

TSWLM, FYEO and OP are his best performances.
