Digging back into the archives, I managed to find some interesting MI6 articles highlighting the scenes that were cut from DAD:

    https://www.mi6-hq.com/sections/articles/bond_20_cut_scenes1.php3

    https://www.mi6-hq.com/sections/articles/bond_20_cut_scenes2.php3

    https://www.mi6-hq.com/sections/articles/bond_20_wai_lin.php3

Perhaps the worst offender? The decision to cut Jinx's entire motivations out of the film.

'In a similar fashion to Arnie in "Commando" (although this time the plane was landing rather than taking off), Bond skipped his passport check by hopping off the landing gear onto the tarmac.

In a typical Brosnan-Bond moment, he does the buttons on his jacket up as he strides purposefully down the runaway. The scenes were shot in March 2001 in an engineering base at Heathrow Airport using huge fans.

The final film leaves us with the assumption that Bond managed to get through passport control the old fashioned way.'

Interesting find, I would've liked to have seen that moment in particular, I can see Brosnan pulling it off.

The last James Bond film on home video to ever have real Special Features I believe was Casino Royale. The next three films don't have much to show, from documentary "making-of"s to deleted scenes. Since Quantum, we have been only given the films and what we know of existing in the final film. Regarding alternate endings or deleted scenes, other than being given the report on articles and all, we haven't seen any footage. That should be something. We should be getting some treatment regarding those three films.

That deleted plane scene looks amazing. I'm dying to watch it now! Hopefully it'll be on a future release, preferably before the 100th anniversary...

Agreed. And even with CR, the first release was rubbish. It was the second, "Deluxe" edition, that had the bonus features.

Yep! Do you have that 3-Disc Edition? That is some collectible must for any Bond fan.

Indeed I do. It's a shame the next 3 films have gotten so poor DVD/BR releases after such a good edition of CR...

It's crazy that we went from the Deluxe Edition of CR (jam-packed with special features) to the most bare-bones releases imaginable. I couldn't believe how void of content the SP disc was - if I recall correctly, it was even missing content that could be found online. It's just a shame that certain distributors don't put more love and care into their home video releases, considering this is the last avenue (plus digital releases) for making bank off of a movie.

If you've got $250 million to spend on a movie, there's no excuse for not adding in a director's commentary and some deleted scenes/interesting featurettes.

The lack of commentary is definitely questionable.

I probably wouldn't have cared about a lack of everything else if they at least had that.

A still from TWINE (likely from an early version of the teaser trailer) of a deleted scene meant to precede Bond and Elektra's love scene, presumably in which Elektra entices Bond to sleep with her:
