The problem is, the run time is increasing all the time, irrespective of what story they are telling.

Connery average run time 117 minutes

Moore average run time 126 minutes

Dalton average run time 131 minutes

Brosnan average run time 128 mintues

Craig average run time 136 minutes

Why is this a problem? It just depends on what story you are telling and how you tell it.

I'm pretty sure if they announced that B25 was going to be 6 hours long and Aidan Turner playing Bond then you'd suddenly be pretty happy with long run times.
    lmao

Nolan says he likes to raise some eyebrows with his casting choices, in reference to Harry Styles. It's subtle, but I think we can all read the subtext in that. I think it's wrong to assume he will automatically hire Hardy for Bond, when he has such a keen eye for potential.

Chris Nolan definitely has his eye on Turner @Mendes4Lyfe. Definitely!

I guess, I'm one of the few here that still really admires SPECTRE? :p

You are not alone, @Thunderball007. I liked it from the start and still enjoy it greatly. With recent discussion I may watch it again tonight.

Did you make that yourself or has @Mendes' relentless waffle poisoned the entire internet against Turner?

At this rate @Mendes could ruin the poor guy's career!

Pity. I was hoping the internet was rampant with anti Turner memes.

@peter, don't be foolish. He's Bond incarnate, the true successor to the throne Connery built; if you can't see that, you need to give me the name of your oculist. Don't be bitter just because you're jealous of his talents and his ascension to the Bond legacy. Are you going to stoop to the level of the Craig haters when he's announced to the role and start an "Aidan Turner is Not Bond" website? Pitiful.

I have to hand it to you, @Mendes4Lyfe. You've either got an amazing ancient crystal ball that you use to see the future painted with clarity in front of you, or the single best stash of mind-altering drugs known to man. Can't decide which ones I'd want to have more...

@0BradyM0Bondfanatic7, I WAS thinking about some such website, but... you made me pause... he, Aidan, is the successor to Conners???

And I re-watched the Hobbit, and, you're right, all I can say is YES... YES... AIDAN = CONNERS, but... 2.0!!!

Thank you for letting me see the light!

I wanted to say, I think that the orchestral version of Writing's on the Wall is amazing!

It's a beautiful tune. Probably a top ten for instrumentals in a Bond theme for me.

True. The singing, however, is an issue for me.
