David Arnold replied 'I see what you did there.....' so is that more confirmation?
I've contacted some folks in radio about this song- not much knowledge out there of it.

If its unknown could this be our theme tune ala the Coke ad from QOS...?
To me, it sounds very Peter Gunn-y
From Rolling Stone Magazine: "The track, titled “Let the Sky Fall,” has been described by Showbiz 411 as an “ominous, dramatic ballad.”
Finally! A Bond-ballad! By jolly........maybe something like 'For Your Eyes Only' or 'All Time High' ? I seriously hope so.....
On the 1st of October the name of the artist of the SkyFall titlesong will finally be released. It is very likely that this will be Adele. On October 5th, International James Bond day, this titlesong will be released and immediately available on iTunes.
I have heard some say it is a Newman track quite possibly. It sounds more like a movie score than anything else. I don't care, just so it is in the film!
I love that video.
We've had plenty of ballads over these 50 years, I was hoping for another rock theme.
Brilliant. Did I not say this type of thing would happen three days ago? ;)
Three days to go!
Exactly! If it has the soul of any of those classic Bond themes before Tomorrow Never Dies, then it can't go wrong!
Uhm, someone saying that does not appreciate the variety of the Bond songs through the years. A Bond song is not solely a rock song. Many genres of music ended up as a Bond song. From the romantic ballads 'For Your Eyes Only' and 'Nobody Does It Better' to the sultry jazzy sound of 'You Only Live Twice' and 'All Time High'. From the belting voices of Tom Jones and Shirley Bassey to the legendary bands Wings, A-Ha and Duran Duran. And from soul legends Gladys Knight and Tina Turner back to hard rock songs 'You Know My Name' and 'Another Way To Die'. And I think Adele can offer us something different from the previous two Bond songs.
Saying that you are 'sick of the ballads' is saying that you ignore certain parts of Bond history. Luckily I am open to all genres of music. I do appreciate rock a lot. Hence the fact that I adore the new Muse album. I just think it's time for something else for 'SkyFall'. So 'Let The Sky Fall'!
I'm certainly not one who hates the rock tracks I liked both YKMN & AWTD but a proper Bondesque ballad is needed, this is supposed to be Bond with a capital B.
Probably Showbiznews. :P
Nancy Sinatra was a money-maker in 1967 too, just like Adele is now. Same with Duran Duran and A-Ha. Famous names have always been associated with Bond.
I will judge the song first, then I can honestly say if I am disappointed. If the money-issue is the reason not to hire her, then I find it stupid. Frankly, Bond needs a big name. And Adele IS big now.
Yes, for me too. It's Adele.
Nah, they're better than that.
