The music video still hasn't been released. This isn't it.
Oh sorry I misunderstood - it's not the official music video - just an official Sony montage...
I think you'll find it's: " wen der sky foals, wen in crumb bowls". Please listen more closely in future.
Is it a trifle?
Or a crumble?
When dessert comes
We'll have them both together.
Update: #1 in 47 countries!
You can follow how "Skyfall" is doing world wide here.

Thanks guys. It would be slightly frustrating if not on album as I'm an old timer in that I prefer good old cds to this digital downloading lark!
When I searched Adele's Skyfall in amazon to buy the single the OST also shows up, I think it will be included.
So globally this is her biggest hit, would that be correct?
Nice Bond sound
No Skyfall scream
Confirmation
Long track
Respect there try to make a more instrumental score suport by Adele whyle normaly it be other way around. Already with demo i think there make instrumental one for the end credits and now i realy think there should. The track feel long and when time past this can going to be a problem. The lyrics give a lot of information, something you mabey know/feels when you like/understand QOS or saw the Skyfall teaser. Iam confirmd in my expections on those elements it wil contune where QOS start with.
I don't know what i must think about those extra background voices. Mabey a bit disapointed there is no Skyfall! scream at the end.
I also think that the version under the maintitle's mabey go or should end after 3.18. The theme at that time sound it can fate out every moment and is very beautifull.
I liked that video with all the orange fire, some clouds and stars who is made under the song. That and the song made think that i like to see a LALD or Thunderball releated maintitle whyle i first i have big doubts or i whant see that in the case of LALD and don't wanna see something like there did with Thunderball.
Don't like crumble but apart from that it's good.
So for a list of 22 themes (excluding DN), for the time being I have to park it at #20.
The theme is Bondian enough. It's adequate. It's acceptable. It's a return to basics after the abomination of the last theme. The lyrics don't grab me though. I do like the little flourishes of the James Bond theme. What I don't like are the vocal harmonies that accompany her towards the end. The whole presentation seems somewhat restrained as well. It will grow on me, but I'm not sure that I will be able to push it much further up. The 19 themes ahead of it are all fairly strong. Suffice to say, on my list, the new theme is no threat to the great Bond themes of yore, or even a top-15. I could see it moving up maybe a few notches though, as it begins to permeate my Bond subconscious. The musical hooks and title refrain may yet catch on.
It's a matter of taste also. I heard earlier on this forum, that the song is 'too romantic', 'too loungy', 'too slow-tempo'.
Well lads, these things have been part of the Bond films as well. Romantic atmosphere, lounge, slow-tempo are actually most of the time part of a James Bond title theme.
It started with Nancy Sinatra's sultry Bond-ballad 'You Only Live Twice', then continueed beautifully in Louis Armstrong's 'We Have All The Time In The World'. Not to mention the rather not-so-Bond-ian-sounding 'Nobody Does It Better'. Which was a pure romantic ballad....and a huge hit success, earning an Oscar-nod. Slow-tempo moved forward with the soulful music of John Barry's / Hal David's 'Moonraker'.
Then 'For Your Eyes Only' enhanced the romantic atmosphere again. Sheena Easton was beautiful and in 1981 one of the most popular and beautiful singers of her time. Rita Coolidge did a rather lacklustre attempt and did not really reach an 'All Time High'.
But I firmly believe Adele belongs in my above summary about fantastic female performers who set the standard for lush, jazzy, slow-tempo and romantic melodies. Adele is the Shirley Bassey, Carly Simon, Louis Armstrong, Sheena Easton and Nancy Sinatra. Without a doubt.
Bravo Adele.
Well "Rolling In The Deep" was the best selling single of 2011 and it was released in November 2010. By February 2012 it sold over 7,000,000 copies in the US becoming the highest selling digital song by a female artist in the US. World wide it was the 5th best selling. Spent 65 weeks on the charts and was #1 in 11 countries, not just iTunes.
As of now I can't really tell you, I'm only seeing iTunes sales. No radio play, no Soundscan, no Billboard charts to look at yet. But 49(update) countries being #1 in digital iTunes sales over night is definitely something to be very proud of as an Adele fan and a Bond fan. And it's AN AMAZING BEGINNING!!!! So it definitely seems like it's becoming her biggest hit.

Would've liked some custard to go with the crumble but never mind!
Yeah, her saying "At Skyfall" makes it pretty apparent that she is aware of what Skyfall actually is.
To be honest guys? I am totally addicted to 'Skyfall'. Please help me......
OK I'm ready to dodge a bullet for asking this question lol What exactly is Skyfall?
And can someone briefly explain what I need to know about the storyline to have a better understanding of her lyrics.
Secondly, 'Skyfall' refers to a specific name for a big villainous revenge operation initiated by villain Raoul Silva, ex-MI6-agent. He knows about Bond's past and first wants to create havoc on MI6, committing a terrorist attack on Vauxhall Cross, killing members of parliament and several MI6-employees. But that's not it. His revenge goes beyond that. Silva is a computer wizkid too. With his IT knowledge he wants to bring down all defense satellites. Hence the big computer racks/servers on Silva's deserted island. So very cynically Silva wants to 'let the sky fall'; let the secret intelligence community crumble. So he's a villainous version of Julian Assange.
so, simply because i enjoy TWINE more than say "Goldfinger" means my opinion shouldn't be taken seriously?.. is that what you are alluding to with the comment of "..and since you rank the TWINE song so high you make sense liking this song." - is that a question about my musical taste, and that since i prefer a song that is soo universally panned by Bond fans, that I don't know what a good theme sounds like, and therefor my opinion on said matter is null and void?..... not trying to sound like a p**** or anything - but i just want to get a better understanding of that statement..
the connection i was making was about the arrangement of the entire song in itself - not specifically narrowed to the voices... the piano, the blaring horns, it evoked a 'classic' feel without having completely repaved over an existing road... but if we do want to talk vocals - i don't see a problem with them... does she sound constrained? yes... but does every Bond theme need to belted out to the heavens? - no... there is smokey and sultry tone to her performance in this song that I really like, and one that i feel fits the tone of the song itself - and will probably fit the tone of the film as well....
i didn't know they even had computers there?...... OMG i'm just kidding - dont need the PC nazis after me lol..
