Not a big fan of the gas station gag at the end of the OP PTS.

Why must the Moore stuff always undercut itself?

My big issue with TWINE is that he falls on his right shoulder, but his left shoulder is injured for the rest of the picture.

    What?!?! I never noticed that!
No big deal, he jammed his left arm on the final wire; that's where the injury occurred.

He landed on his shoulder, then the rest of the picture he's injured in the wrong shoulder.

    Just bad moviemaking.

Again, watch the scene again, @doubleohdad.

    My favorites: GF
    Least favorite: TMWTGG probably.

Honestly, much like the theme songs, I like almost all of the PTS. Goldfinger takes the cake for just being pure Bond class and ultimate fun. I think Bassey's theme song looming has something to do with that as well but everything about it screams awesome. Barry's tune is great as well.

The Living Daylights (and a few others) would be runners-up.

I've seen it it multiple times, and he seems to always fall on the right shoulder then somehow he's injured on the left shoulder.

How many different ways do you need this explained to you? The impact on the side of his right shoulder must have hurt of course, but his left dislocated collarbone clearly happened on the wire. Clearly that is, if you own the movie & pop it in for a second to check. But possibly you're not in possession of a copy. That would be strange for a Bond fan claiming to have seen the movie many times.... :-?

lol, I own the disc and he keeps landing on the right shoulder every time.

Is this the part where you start insulting someone for differing in opinion?

And that means...?? I've fallen in martial arts class many times on my shoulder and never dislocated my collar bone, but indecently I *DID* dislocate my collar bone stopping a stack of heavy boxes from falling over, kind of like the way Bond's weight must have yanked his collar bone out too. On the wire. The part you're not considering because for you, your opinion starts and ends with your opinion, not observable data. :))
So which shoulder did he hit the dome with? I forget, could you tell me again? =))

Love, love love, the opening of TLD.
It trumps the opening of LTK, which is a little underwhelming, comparatively.

Yes, Bond dislocated his shoulder because of the wires. I've walked over O2 Stadium (Millenium Dome), and to have fallen with such force on those cables, well, his shoulder didn't stand a chance.

    And with that- case closed.

lol, if you fell that far the last thing you'd be worried about is what happened AFTER you landed, and the film makes this egregious error and compounds it the entire film, lol.

Haha, it doesn't end, does it?

And you do know that the millennium Dome's "roof", so to speak, is a canvas marquee?
    Yes I do:)

He should have bounced then right?

    :)

Are all Bond films infallible? I surely think not.

I thought it was a kind of plastic from the look of it... fascinating @MayDayDiVicenzo! Now that I've watched the TWINE PTS a bunch of times ( ;) ) I have to say I loved the looks on Cigar Girl's face both when Bond makes the round numbers comment, and when he launches the 'torpedoes'; on the latter her face seems to say "Are you kidding me?!" :))

Some of the stunts in that sequence made the audience I saw it with groan, especially the bit where he straightens his tie underwater.

It's hardly like falling on bloody concrete, that's for sure!

Yes, all Bond films are fallible, but what you think is continuity error simple does not exist. Look anywhere on the Internet, YouTube. No mention of this "continuity error" in articles that specifically mention all the continuity errors of TWINE.

About the Goldfinger PTS, has anyone ever noticed the moving matte line from the top of the rock line as the camera pans down to the water? I'm still in awe of that simple effect & how good it looked for the time, combining two locations into one.

    Classy, very classy.

I need not insult you to make my points, yet you insult when others differ with you.

    Classy.

Love how you edited your previous post so it does come off as insulting.
    Very classy.

No, you disagree with my points and insults are your only retort. Love how you edited your post above so you don't come off as rude.

At the very least, it's inconsistent that he lands on his shoulder and isn't hurt, and we'll leave it at that.

"Inconsistent"? In what meaning of the word? Have YOU ever hit a semi-solid surface with your shoulder?
And, "Leave it at that"? What, so you can have the last word?
    :))
Why not debate the physics, or common causes of collar bone dislocation? I mean, this is a really important point, right? Why leave it half-thrashed out? The whole film is tainted for you because of this 'bad moviemaking', right?
Or... do you want to just admit that you need to re-access your original OPINION?
Hey- it's okay to be wrong. We ALL are occasionally (zero sarcasm here).
Yeah, I never said the film was tainted, only the gag and the result. Not reassessing anything here, I've made my point.

In a small concession to @doubleohdad, the wind shield POV shot he saw on Q's boat was actually a shot from the police car smashing through boxes of fish (slo-mo reveals the right hand drive), a confusing editing choice I must admit. Apologies for any sarcasm on my part concerning that.
