    Out of curiousity, what makes the Alfa Romeo GTV6 preferable to both the Lotus and DB10 in their respective films? Unlike both the Lotus and DB10, the Alfa Romeo GTV6 is a stolen civilian car with no gadgets.

    Yes someone tell me too. I respect that the car chase leads on to the general urgency of the bomb dilemma in OP, but it really is just a normal car...

    @BondJasonBond006 @CommanderRoss My thinking is that it would be a shame to see two entries falling down on the list when there are entries remaining that are (arguably) inferior to both. To the best of my knowledge there are no rules against mutual cease fires until an agreed upon number of entries are eliminated (potentially bringing both your choices up in the rankings)--it's entirely up to you gentlemen (and yes BondJasonBond006 you voted against it on the previous page). Just a thought. I simply threw the Alfa Romeo GTV6 out there as an example and this concludes all I'm going to say on the matter.

    The GTV6 is a true classic, a beautiful car that was still within the reaches of the general public. I understand many prefer gadget-laden cars, but for me the gadgets should be usefull and sensible, like those in the DB10 (I loved the fact that the guns were not loaded).
    The Lotus, for me, has little to offer. It's not a beautiful car (the GTV6 in my eyes looking a lot better) and the gadgets are ridiculous and over the top. I won't protect the GTV6, but for me it should rank above the Lotus.

    Ok guys, what makes the Alfa so great is its beauty. As many classic Italian cars it's the design that makes it so wonderful. Dio mio, those gracious lines, it's almost eroticism on wheels. I'd even argue that besides the classic Astons and maybe Aki's Toyota there has been no car as beautiful as the Alfa in the whole franchise, designwise that is.

    It's a question of style really. If Tracy had kept her Lancia from the novel, she would be the most stylish woman that ever graced the screen in any film. Her charisma, her accent, her attire and her car. Unfortunately they went for a screaming red American thingy.

    The Alfa still in while the Toyota is out? The style of the GTV6 has not carried over that well into today. It is very much in the eyes of the beholder, but I think it looks run of the mill and nothing as spectacular as today's 8C and 159. But in the 70s and 80s Alfa Romeo really had lost it design-wise.
