    Lazenby was a great Bond. But at the time I resented him. What made it difficult for him was he was the first to take Connery's place. Moore had it easier, because we knew it was coming and he was known. As for the rest, we knew Bond would change every decade or so.

    I think it's been *years* since I posted my ranking of the actors here. It hasn't changed at all since then, and it won't until after I eventually see Bond 26 with Bond actor #7. So an eternity. 😂 Anyway, here:

    2. Craig
    3. Dalton
    4. Lazenby
    5. Moore
    6. Brosnan

    Still sorry/not sorry, Pierce. GoldenEye made me a Bond fan after seeing it in the theaters at age 16, and I then ranked him second to Connery after seeing those first movies.

    But 29+ years later, a lot had changed. I finally saw and appreciated the very underrated Lazenby and Dalton, and Daniel Craig came along and redefined Bond for me. I like Pierce, but everyone else is just better.
