This is mentioned in Kingsley Amis' The James Bond Dossier (1965) at one point and I was wondering if anyone here had a copy of this book review from Punch and would care to share it via email photocopy or scan?

I'd be very grateful if anyone out there has a copy of it that they could send my way or even share here in this thread.

Thanking you in advance. :)

Your best bet will be to obtain access to a university library or a very good public one--even if it doesn't have back issues of Punch, it might have an edition of the Gale NewsVault database that includes the "Punch Historical Archive 1841–1992." Not every edition of NewsVault includes it, but it's worth checking for.

There's a university library somewhat near me that has back issues of Punch, but the catalog isn't clear if the early 60s issues are in storage or not, and it will probably be a couple of weeks before I have an opportunity to make an expedition.

Not to fear, @Revelator. @kenhelm has kindly sent me a copy of the very short review of TSWLM from Punch. I'm going to use it in an upcoming article on an aspect of TSWLM novel for my blog. I can send you a copy of it if you would like to read it.

Thanks--if the review is very short, I'll just wait for your article, which I'm already looking forward to since TSWLM is a fascinating topic.

Thanks, @Revelator. I've been thinking about doing a short series on TSWLM about some things that really pop out at me about this criminally overlooked Bond novel.

Glad you found it @Dragonpol. If I may ask, do you know the date the magazine was from?
