The most recent releases have not involved a great deal of tooling expenses as they have all been used in previous partworks around Europe. The Mercedes 220D was previously used in the 'Legend of Mercedes Benz' sold in France and Spain. It's an excellent model, but look how the Thai number plate is undersized, they should have used a new bumper component.

The VAZ police car had been used in a Russian market collection of Soviet era cars, while the London taxi was used in 'Taxis of the world'.

I don't think that the AEC bus from LALD will make it...have you seen how big 1/43 scale double decker buses are?

Well, I finally have issue 108.

Are we still on track to end at 130 or could this go for a while longer?... It really does feel like it can't go on any more, some of the cars we're receiving now, are just :-& .

lol! agreed samuel! With regards to the bus? They could scale it down like they did with the moonbuggy? Besides? I think they owe it to all us collectors to who have stuck with them and some of there pointless crappy models!

By the way, if anyone needs more folders to store the magazines, just phone up and ask them. They're free. I only needed one but when I was asked "one or two", of course I said "two!"

Four folders should be enough to include space for 200 issues.

oh superb! Will give them a call tomorrow. Dare i ask? How long did they take to come through? :))

They should take up to 14 days to arrive. Not too bad, really.

    The two next cars:

    Octopussy's Austin FX4

    KGrHqZhIE7SiO3B2jBO64ilm2Vg6012.jpg

To put between the Acrostar and the Tuk Tuk

And Dr. No's Austin A55 Cambridge Mark II

    KGrHqZlE65KGG46tBO64l4cRlw6012.jpg

To put... where exactly? I don't remember. Anyway, unlike the last two models, who at least had a part in important scenes, I could have done without those two.

Nice pics @Gerard! Thank You. I agree, the latest two aren't really needed bu good to have nonetheless. 115 already, wow, time really flies when collecting these.

The question still stands: Between which cars should I put the Cambridge. Between the Consul and the Sunbeam, or the Hearse and the Dragon ? It's been a while since I've watched Dr. No.

Between the Consul and the Sunbeam. I'm sure that would be the right order.

Thanks Gerard on what model 115 is going to be. Should be recieving 114 at the end of next week! Seeing as you have 115 as well? What model is it for 116 please out of curiosity? Is it something we will all recognise immediately? ;) =))

I don't have issue 115 yet (as, as far as I know, it hasn't been published yet). Issue 114 should be out next week, and I'm waiting for it. Those pics come from the forum Atomobile Pratique (from where quite a few pictures came from in the old days of the forum). So I don't know what issue 116 will be. Sorry.

another fantastic car to the collection! ;) lol! Don't know if anyone can help with this? But? Before Quantum Of Solace was released at the cinema, Did they release any of these cars that we have before the movie came out? I only ask as i cannot remember? And it also means that the collection will not finish at 130!

Any help on this would be appreciated

We got Quantum Of Solace cars after the film was released, so again, the same should apply with Skyfall. So yes, that may mean going beyond issue 130.

Today is anniversary of the James Bond car collection in The Netherlands. Number 100 (Police car from Casino Royale) is released in The Netherlands.

I have understand number 101 is Royce from AVTAK, in my opnion there can better have made that number 100.

Well, we have some ideas of what cars to expect from Skyfall, thanks to pics of the filming. And I really want that Daimler Hearse.

But in the meantime, I received the Austin FX4 taxi (which, even if it's a car used by Bond, dosn't quite have its place in the collection), next car (which should be out next week if all goes well) will be the taxi from Dr. No (another not so important car, although it's a beauty), and then the Lada Niva from TWINE (which at least has a -small- part in the movie).

Nice call on the hearse! Hopefully with the Union Jack covered coffin? Not to be morbid ofcourse. I am trying to place the Lada Niva as i cannot recall at the minute?

I am expecting the Dr No taxi this week too? I so hope for a more recognisable model after that as they are really pushing it now don't you think?

It's the car Bond "borrows" to impersoante the guy who will accompany the mercenaries to the nuclear facility where he's about to meet Christmas Jones.

ok thanks, will take a look when i get opportunity? I know the scene your referring too, however? Not the look of the car? What a surprise hey? :))

Here it is. As it appears in a night scene, it's very difficult to get a usable pic. This is the best I could find:

Apologies samuel as i do not know? But where are you from? The difference in who is waiting for which issue is quite staggering! Cannot recall who it was now but i remember someone from the Netherlands was waiting for issue 100 only a few weeks ago!

Do you get yours through mail order subscription? Or via a local newsagent? I'm the latter and have been very fortunate to find a goodone as mine have always arrived on time unless there are national holidays. which delay it a day or two.

Myself, I buy them thanks to an online merchant, Chris Clarke. Sunday, I received the invoice for issue 115, which means that it should be sent to me this week, and I should receive it between this week and the next. Our Dutch friend probably gets them in the dutch edition, which means the dutch publication started after the british publication.
