well, my "requests" would be the "taxi" Impala that takes Bond from the airport to Felix, as it would match up nicely with the Corvorado. apart from that I don't really know what >important< cars we could ask for!

If they scaled them down like they did the MoonBuggy? I would like off the top of my head:

Ford Mondeo and the JCB from Casino Royale,
Heller's tank from Licence To Kill,
Double Decker Bus without roof from Live And Let Die,
Tanker Rig only without trailor from Licence To Kill.

For starters, we have some clues as to what cars will be in SkyFall: Daimler Hearse (I want that one !), New Beetle, Land Rover Defender, Aston Martin DB5, and presumably Range Rover Evoque (has Range Rover been bought by Lotus ?)

And there are seven cars from my ist which have still not be made: Rolls Royce Silver Wraith (FRWL), Austin Mini-Moke (YOLT, in the volcano, or/and TSWLM, in the Liparus), Chevrolet Bel-Air (chased by the Corvorado) and Impala (JW Pepper's car) from LALD, Audi 200 Avant (TLD, in Tangiers), Lincoln Limousine (LTK, Felix's wedding), and Ford Mondeo (CR). To that, we could add the bobsleighs from OHMSS (both in the same display case, that would make a great diorama), and the police cars from DAF and TMWTGG.

The bus was scheduled, but cancelled because of the association with the 7/7 attacks in London. I don't know if we'll get it. And the truck from TLK is also doubtful, because it would have to be scaled way down. But alrady, we're at 16 cars. Which leave enough place for four lemons. Any other ideas ?

I still want Tim's car from Key West in Licence to Kill, the one he leaves outside the airport when he's about to go home and later uses to go 'shark hunting'.

However I expect we'll get cars Bond walked past on the street, or drove past, or parked beside.

My last delivery was 116 and 117 on 24 March.
  • Did they do the trailer from Octopussy with the horses rear-end that lifts up to reveal the mini-jet?

No. They did the Range Rover and they did the jet with the wings up, but not the trailer. And to think Corgi managed it back in 1983!

The most recent payment was taken from my account a few days ago, so 118 and 119 should be on there way as early as next week I think.

It's never 28 days between deliveries and this wait along with others, shows just how long some can be.

Recieved 119 today. There is no licence plate number on the model, and although the background diorama is of Thunderball? The back of the case reads For Your Eyes Only! How on earth can the same mistake be made a second time?

Having said that the model itself is pretty good. But the simple mistakes do get annoying. The next model is Loque's Mercedes from FYEO. So no doubt it will say TB on the back of the case? ;)

Received it today as well. Great car, all around. Definitely worth having in the collection. And I don't care too much about the mistake: in my display case, you don't see what's written on the back of the boxes.

At this rate issue 130 won't be released until the end of the year. Hopefully this collection goes on no longer than issue 150.

150 would take us close to Bond 24! And Car Collectionwise you know what that could mean? ;) X_X

Just had a great idea for a car from TWINE's pre-credits sequence. The one being clamped as Bond goes past in his boat.

Numbers 118 and 119 arrived today. When I got home I saw the familiar cardboard box waiting for me and I said 'ah, mister Bond, I've been expecting you.'

I actually did say it, mind.

I've not had a close look at the cars yet but there is a smashing photo of Luciana Paluzzi in one of the mags. :)

I too received issues 118 and 119 today, well I got a card telling me I'd have to collect them. I missed the delivery.

I did receive a letter though, informing me of the payments dates and confirming the collection will now go to issue 140, which is due in March. Surely this is the end?

March 2014, then, unless they go back to a bimonthly schedule. Any hints as to which cars we can expect ?

No, the last issue is due March 2013. No word of the cars, sadly.

Im guessing we will get a letter in issue 120 then as there was not one with 119? 140 hey? There is a surprise?!!! ;)

What does surprise me is not mention of the new models? Its a given that Skyfall cars will feature like the Jaguar, Audi, and which ever Police cars? Will have to keep a look out on the list for updates? Thanks for the new info Samuel.

I received a letter separately, so you should get one as soon as possible.

We may have ten Skyfall cars but hopefully five from the film with the other five from elsewhere would be far better.

Wait a minute: We've just got issue 119. Which means that we will get issue 130 in april next year (2013). Which means that, ten issues later, we'll be in 2014. That is, if they keep the monthly schedule. At least, if my calculations are right (math was never my strong point at school).

So, would that mean that they'll switch back to a bimonthly schedule ?

A bimonthly schedule is what it looks like to me. The letter makes clear the final issue, for now, issue 140 is due March of next year - for those in the UK at least.

I worked it out at a rate of every 4 weeks? It would to funnily finish on christmas day 2013! I would be happier with a model every 2 weeks though like they used to be! As that would finish in March of next year.
