I'm well aware but am having trouble finding it! Give me time and I am sure I can dig it out. You are right, this has been done before - and recently.
Countries/States - South Africa, Fiji, Hawaii.
Not very keen on Bond in the Outback personally. Sydney could work though I guess.
Ans for cities:
Rome, Donostia-San Sebastian, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Lima (to get to see Machu Pichu), Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Baghad, Bankok, Wellington, ...
How about maradona is the villian, and he has stolen a deadly weapon known as "the hand of god" ;)
would like to see how things turned out there post apartheid
Yep, Bond needs to go back to the place where it all began.
This thread got me to thinking about Bond in weather. Have we ever seen Bond in the rain during a fight, chase, or even at all?

Imagine the spectacular climaxes.. :D
Maybe with some fast paced BASE jumping?
Am liking that, although we must be careful to avoid what they do in the Mission Impossible films - find a location that would look cool that Tom Cruise fancies hanging from and then try and force a story to fit the location.
Whilst I would love Bond to base jump of those sheer Norwegian cliffs, its difficult to envisage a plot whereby he a) finds himself up there and b) just happens to be carrying a parachute. To be honest TWSLM PTS is ludicrous when you think about it - why on earth would Bond go skiing along with a parchute on his back? They weigh a ton!
and no oddly enough, can't recall Bond in the rain at anytime during the last twenty-two outings, strange if you really think about it. It was raining with effect at the beginning of Royale when Obanno meets LeChiffre, but of course, no sign of Bond. It must have happened at some stage in the series but I really can't recall any such happening. Die Another Day may have been a shower of S--- , but I don't think we can really include that in it!

Mr Samuel, you're slipping !
How about London in QoS?
There was a big thing made at the time of how CR featured the first time it had rained in a Bond film.
The scene with Obanno and Le Chiffre springs to mind but isnt it also raining during the montage of Bond and Vespers romance when they come into the hospital room and fall off the bed?
I think this scene is the only time we have seen Bond get wet in the rain. In QOS its raining in London but do we see Bond outside? Can someone sadder than me remember if his coat is wet in the Mitchells flat scene?
Hes actually been snowed on more often OHMSS (blizzard near the barn) and QOS (final scene). Theres not many people who can say that.
I think we have hit a new low here in discussing Bondian minutae.
Lovely stunning green spaces, lots of coast line and a good liar on the west side of the island at the Needles
As for who keeps a parachute in their backpack ...? Well, like a boy scout Bond is always prepared. :D
LOL! I am, I am!
Thanks @0BradyM0Bondfanatic7, this one really got passed me. :)
-Tennessee (Nashville)
-Hawaii
-Georgia (Atlanta)
-Illinois (Chicago)
-North Carolina (Asheville, where the Biltmore Estate is, could be a great location for a villain base or something, if the rights could be secured)
-Texas (San Antonio; the Riverwalk area there has some definite Bond location potential)
-Washington D.C.
-Pennsylvania (Philedelphia)
Really? Wow, that's strange. Now you've got me searching my brain for any instance of rain prior to Casino Royale!
Isn't it raining in OHMSS, when Bond and Tracy are In Draco's car in Berne?
If it's not too dear.
No, no, a thousand times no! (And I'm American.)
Yes. Skyfall will be the fourth Bond film which features rain. And it'll be three of three for Craig.
