I opted to watch Jessica Jones first then had way too many shows on my watch list, DD definately worth the wait. I read the Punisher shows up at some point.

    Doctor Who: The Happiness Patrol
This is one of those stores that has a reputation that the story doesn't deserve. On the surface it looks all light and frothy, but underneath, it's a bit of a subversive one this.

    Happiness will prevail!

    7th Doctor, Best To Not-Quite-So-Best:
    1. Remembrance Of The Daleks
    2. The Happiness Patrol
    3. Dragonfire
    4. Paradise Towers
    5. Delta And The Bannermen
    6. Time And The Rani

Recently, on DVD, I watched the first two episodes of the second season of Penny Dreadful (definitely not for children), and the first five episodes of the second season of "Who Do You Think You Are ? USA" (too bad the next seasons are not available on DVD. And while we're at it, what became of the DVD set of the twelfth season of the original show anyway ?) On TV, watched two episodes of Rizzoli and Isles on monday, and will watch NCIS on friday.

Has anyone seen Death In Paradise? Never had the time to follow the show, but I saw a few episodes from the first two seasons and I felt it was fairly enjoyable (and funny at times). I'm aware, however, that Ben Miller had left the franchise, and after watching his replacement Kris Marshall I don't think the series has the same feeling. Maybe somebody could offer me a more comprehensive review on the series.

    Silver Nemesis

It's an ok story, with maybe a little too much going on.

I am in opposite situation, I have watched the last two seasons though as yet not watched the Ben Miller episodes. What I have watched is a welcome distraction in winter months based on location of the show. It's not particularly challenging though enjoyable, when I have time l will watch the earlier series its on Netflix.

I loved Ben Miller in the first two series of Death in Paradise and thought he would be irreplaceable and to be fair it does take a while to get used to Kris Marshall, but once you do he's great and brings a different feel to the show. Its nothing more than a British take on things like Murder She Wrote and Diagnosis Murder really, but there's nothing at all wrong with that. On a cold, dark winters night being transported to a sun soaked island for a light hearted murder mystery is no bad thing and anything with Danny John Jules in it is ok with me

It appears Agent Carter has been cancelled. No Season 3 on ABC, whatsoever.

Agent Carter has been cancelled, so has Castle which is rather surprising.
Supergirl is moved to the CW, how great is that! Because now the longevity of that show is practically guaranteed :)

Not so surprising, considering Stana Katic had been fired. And I'm in the majority who thinks that Castle without Becket, that is not Castle at all.

Didn't know she got fired. So last season was without her?

I'm coming to the end of my Blake's 7 box set. It was an old
70s BBC sci-fi series. Not great for special effects but great
    Nostalgic fun. :)

And the sexiest supreme commander ever, let's not forget that.

Me, I watched the last two episodes of "Carnival of Monsters" and the boni of "Frontier in Space" today. I didn't know there was a pretty big Bond connection (with YOLT) even if the filmmakers deny it. And nice tribute to Roger Delgado. Now to watch the story proper. Can't wait.

This season keeps surprising and shocking me because after season five, I really wasn't ready for this type of plot progression; things are moving along at a wonderful pace after season five spent ten episodes that didn't really get us anywhere different.

Yeah, I was surprised at how quickly things are moving which is a welcome surprise. I think the rest of the season is going to be incredibly satisfying.

As do I. Things are a bit predictable, but that's okay with me since this season is wonderful in its pacing, content, and twists.

The Greatest Show In The Galaxy (Part 4)
This 2nd McCoy series had an odd tone, and this story perfectly displays that. I doubt it did much to help the view of clowns.

    Battlefield (Part 1)
The start of series 26, the big guns of the McCoy era.

Surprise of the century: Scream, the TV show actually isn't bad!
Easily better than 2 & 3. They did a good job of modernizing the story; even though the movie is just 20 years old a LOT has changed!

@Master_Dahark, is that show still being produced, or did they can it?

I'm only 4 episodes in but it appears it's been renewed for season 2!

@Master_Dahark, I may give it a look sometime. You may be too early into the show to know this, but is Ghostface now a sort of mythic figure in the series that people treat as more of an idea than anything, like a scary tall tale or urban legend? I think it'd be interested in seeing a show with characters who questioned whether what happened to Sydney and her friends was real, or if Ghostface was real. Wait, is Sydney and those films even canon in this show, or is it a clean slate?

I'm guessing that in the show someone has again used the mask to create fear of their own and finished what others have started. Does that seem right?

Had a smile on my face the whole time, loved that show when it was on. Is it supposed to be some two-hour event, or is it a new season entirely? Looks like I'll have to go back and re-watch the old series before this airs.
