Smart lady and quirky, I remember first seeing her on Number 73 when I was a kid.

We're showing our age, as That's my first Memory of her and she hosted the news quizz
On BBC radio 4 for years, where she was very funny.

One of many children shows in the 80s, Sandy looks exactly the same.

I'm a big fan of QI, and regularly binge out on Dave watching loads of episodes.
Good show indeed, a past girlfriend bought me the QI book it's a fun read.

Stephen Fry is a national treasure. I love watching QI just for him alone.

Might give Legends of Tomorrow another go, watched the first three episodes
and enjoyed it , but didn't think it overly special.

    Quantico.

This show is so frustrating. It started off great and had so much potential and then it took a sharp turn. I love Priyanka Chopra and her character, again started off great but then she was just written pretty badly. Easily one of the most frustrating tv shows. I hope season 2 is much better.

The last 4 episodes have been the best of the season so far, it's getting better and started to exploit the potential of the premise. It started to have a Star Trek feel to the show, it's my favourite DC show currently.

Legends of Tomorrow has gotten much better , and it has the potential to be even better still if next season includes
    John Wesley Shipp's The Flash
    as a regular!

Still behind US on the DC shows though tough to avoid spoilers, Flash has been a let down this year though season 1 was exceptional and a tough act to follow. Legends... really has licence to exploit majority of DC universe, I accidentally learnt something about the show that sounds good going into season 2.

Gomorrah the Italian television crime drama series which revolves around the brutal Neapolitan crime organization the Camorra, as seen through the eyes of Ciro Di Marzo. Having watched the first season last year, the second season is proving to be even better than the first. Pretty much love everything about this show, and just like Narco (another great crime drama), I don't have a problem with the subtitles. Hopefully I'll get to see the remaining episodes before I depart on my year-long mission in the Far East.

The Flash season 2 Finale, I am not including the last two minutes that was pretty awesome and could lead to seriously bad things. For the most part the final episode summed up the season poor writing, character motivations and actions have been allover the place. I know Zoom is psychotic though the writers took any early threat away and made him look stupid in the end. The show just seemed to throw fragmented ideas together, and settled on a that would do philosophy. Hope season 3 gets back to season 1 level.

Yesterday, "Mysteries of Laura". The series was sabotaged by TF1, who aired the first episodes at around 11 PM on a wednesday night. Now, the episodes air at 9 PM on a tuesday night, but instead of restarting the series, they decided to continue the series from episode 15 on. Stupid, stupid, stupid... Still, it's fun, and I like Debra Messing, so I'm staying for the duration. Too bad they air three episodes per night.

Xmen Animated series from the early 90s, for me arguably the second best animated show based on comic book characters. Watching the start of season 2 and the writing is good in that it does not date, and the on going themes work well. I have all five seasons which I pick up now and then for quality nostalgia.

Awesome. It's one of the best shows ever no doubt; the perfect Batman for kids and adults alike. So many amazing episodes. Such great interpretations of the villains.

Living in England I only was able to watch the first three seasons until a few years ago, through Amazon Instant video finally got round to watching the later seasons. Bruce Timm and Paul Dini did such a great job writing some brilliant shows, I recently watched the show Beware the Batman that was better than I expected.

    Damn, shots fired! LoL

But seriously, the last two seasons have been lacking. I feel bad for Stephen Amell in a way because he's a fan like us, and nothing negative about the show is his fault. He's all heart, and for that I'll continue with Season 5. I just hope it improves.

Agree Stephen Amell is a legend likable chap, just watched season finale, again unfocused big time. The writing structurally is worse than season 3, at least season 3 had half a decent season. Arrow needs to go back to basics, cut out the fluff.

Slowly, but surely, I'm continuing my Classic Who marathon, with "Frontier in Space", one of my favourite Pertwee episodes. Great all around, and Jo Grant has rarely been better than here. A must-see.

Been watching The Twilight Zone recently. I have the dvd's so been flying through them. Such a great series. Favourite episodes so far are "Time Enough At Last", starring the wonderful Burgess Meredith, "Nick of Time" starring the awesome William Shatner and "Once Upon A Time" with the always brilliant Buster Keaton. In all honesty I enjoy most of them but these have stood out so far.

What a cracking closer to the 3rd series of Peaky Blinders and what a cliffhanger. As usual the use of contemporary music has been exemplary, the use of Radiohead in particular was inspired. You and Whose Army in the 1st episode and that haunting closing use of Life In A Glasshouse, utterly superb. It's going to be a long wait for series 4.

    Doctor Who: Ghostlight
Out of the blue comes a story that takes a number of viewings to fully grasp. Not quite the best of series 26. Not that I have any gripes with the story, but the other 3 are better.

    7th Doctor, Best To Not-Quite-So-Best:
    1. Battlefield
    2. Ghostlight
    3. Remembrance Of The Daleks
    4. The Greatest Show In The Galaxy
    5. Silver Nemesis
    6. The Happiness Patrol
    7. Dragonfire
    8. Paradise Towers
    9. Delta And The Bannermen
    10. Time And The Rani
