    To each their own then. Of course the Books give you a much deeper insight into the mind of Bond, that is out of question. The Videogames give you almost NO insight into anybodies mind, because you are Bond in them. You can re-enact some of the craziest stunts or drive an aston martin, rocket launcher included. From Russia with Love for PS2 even had a whole Q-Lab section to play in, so did the James Bond game for Game boy

    I was well aware of the Fleming Bond before DC took the role. I think i was made aware of the Fleming Bond when Tim Dalton was Bond.

    I think it's worth noting that the games and the books are aimed at VERY different audiences.
