    Yes, when I first saw The Living Daylights as a child on ITV is around 1993 (I taped some of the audio on a cassette tape!) that scene stood out as being a bit gross. It doesn't bother me now though.

    Violence is not really something that makes me squeamish in Bond movies.

    It's more the sexual stuff.

    Xenia doing Admiral Farrell.
    Elektra trying to get Bond hard by strangle him in that chair.
    Silva getting all gay and touching Bond.
    MayDay getting on top.

    Can't stand those scenes. I want to throw up.

    The only two real contenders for me are both from the Craig era. You can probably guess them as they are both torture sequences.

    There are other moments when I think "that's nasty" but never get me physically uncomfortable.

    I like that bit, but I don't get squeamish because it comes off as somewhat cartoony to me.

    Yes, there is a bit of overkill there with the expanding face before the explosion.

    I just can't stand those scenes.
    Sure I love sex but I don't want to be dominated by some psychotic woman or Grace Jones, yikes.
    And Silva is so gross I would throw up on the spot if he'd touch me like that.
    And I sure don't need to die by getting strangled in a sex game accident.

    Yes, that's a tough one to sit through even though it is more grimly realistic than virtually any other Bond film death.

    That scene gets a lot of praise but it seems like it's trying too hard given that it is never really capitalised on.

    Curiously, it is the only episode of Columbo in which no murder takes place.

    On the topic of the thread, I don't think there are any scenes that make me squeamish, but when I watched Tomorrow Never Dies for the first time when I was younger it stuck out to me as very violent. Bond throwing Carver into the drill always makes me wince now as a result, even thought they don't show it. Along with the newspaper printer crushing the guy and the blood on the paper, and Stamper's chakra torture tools, IMO I think it's the most violent Bond film.
