Cancer strikes again, how awful. RIP Mr. Jobs. I'm sure he knew what mark he'd already left on the world.

Very sad new. This is a very inspiring speech he gave in 2005:

Such a shame, RIP he will be sorely missed by everyone. Honestly, sounds like pure hyperbole but there really isn't anyone like him right now in the business world that I'm aware of. Such a loss. Great man.

RIP The Man that made the electronic world we live in

in other news Bill Gates reaction
"I'm truly saddened to learn of Steve Jobs' death. Melinda and I extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends, and to everyone Steve has touched through his work. Steve and I first met nearly 30 years ago, and have been colleagues, competitors and friends over the course of more than half our lives. The world rarely sees someone who has had the profound impact Steve has had, the effects of which will be felt for many generations to come. For those of us lucky enough to get to work with him, it's been an insanely great honor. I will miss Steve immensely."

A great company who delivered on what they preached. A man who has truly influence the world in which we live in with his team.

My industry will be eternally grateful.

    iRIP.
  • When I first saw that he had died, I thought "Oh, that's sad. Ah well". Then I realised that I was reading it on an iPod Touch, that my girlfriend has an iPhone and that I just ordered an iPad.

RIP to the man who revolutionised technology as we know it.
  • RIP Steve. You're the closest the world got to a real-life Tony Stark :(

    I can't top that.

So, I'll just say that he took an enormous bite out of the apple that is the world (ouch! ;) ) through sheer inspiration and application. And that has be an example for anyone. And then he was taken too soon, like far too many...
