How is agent under fire still this high it's an ok game but not memorable or interesting as Quantum of Solace Bloodstone and from Russia with love.
N64 Goldeneye and The world is not enough
Of course with only two games on to console I only played these are two however toward the end I found myself playing the world is not enough more often then night great levels great graphics and you could hear bond's voice it was a really cool Game
Ps2 Agent under Fire Nightfire Everything or Nothing Goldeneye Rogue Agent From Russia with love Quantum of Solace
Games I most played: honestly Nightfire Everything or nothing Rogue Agent (which I ignored the story and imagined I was playing as Timothy Dalton's James Bond) from Russia with love and Quantum of Solace
For me the stand out games on the PS2 really were Nightfire EON From Russia with love and Quantum of solace (God I must of played that Haiti level 100 times)... Agent under fire relied to much on "on rails shooting" which is a game mechanic I can't stand (the tank level in Budapest in particular caused me to buy a dozen or so controllers having smashed the old one out of frustration) and of course Nightfire is cinematic and beautiful From Russia with love is just incredible (even though the end boss goes way way wayyyyyyyyy too over the top and Sci fi.. ActivisIon may get called out on doing call of duty things with bond but EA were the king of stealing stuff the belongs in a Star Wars game and putting it in bond)
For Xbox 360 Goldeneye Blood stone and Quantum of solace (only recently did I replay most of Legends and while the game has issues I have pointed out a theory of mine that had Activision just focused on Goldfinger they would still be making games annually and we would of had at least 3-4 more games by now)
I realize I am rambling of course but yeah Agent under fire never had the pick up and play element that other games did in fact if we just look at my most played games regarding bond the list would (based on memory and guess work) look like this
1. Goldeneye N64
2. The world is not enough N64 (just because like goldeneye it's been around for a while)
3. Quantum of solace 360 Goldneye 2010/ goldeneye reloaded (all3 games are pretty equal)
4. From Russia with love
5. Night fire
6. Everything or nothing
7. Bloodstone
8. Goldeneye rogue agent
9. James Bond 007 for the game boy
10. James Bond the duel
11. Agent under fire
Yeah if it remeber correctly I played it once beat it and moved on to Nightfire

What's more surprising is that how did Quantum on PS3/X360 stayed on top and the PS2 version got knocked down...

Probably because Quantum on the PS3/ XBox 360 had more intense action. Some people prefer the PS2 version simply because it's third person and not a call of duty clone, but in the end I think the PS3/ XBox 360 version had better gameplay which is what counts the most.
I never played the PS2 version, i am trying to at the moment but the controls are really tough to get into for me.
The PC version (same as PS3/XBOX) for me is where it's at. i got sucked into it when it came out, also because it was the first good 007 game in a while and because it was the first Craig game. What i love about it, is the same approach in storytelling like Goldeneye64 by expanding the story through levels that were not in the film
AND you get to kill Mark Forster (God, so satisfying) not sure if you can do that in the PS2 version :)
The 360 needed the Haiti level badly
The PS2 version needed the train level and i believe the airport level too it's been a while since I played it I remember being get disappointed in the Ps2 version missing a lot of the 360 levels
The Haiti level was awesome in the PS2 version. My only issue with the PS2 version was Bond's outfit in the Opera House level. Come on! Rubbish casual? Get your darn tuxedo, man! :))
yeah, the Quantum levels felt rushed and unnecessary. i would have prefered a pure CR adaption. But the CR part is pretty much complete, and at least for me one of the Best Bond Game experiences out there. But i understand it's not for everyone. You guys do make me curious about the PS2 version though, i only heard good things about it. i will have to pick it up again
Agreed. Quick-time events are the worst form of gameplay, if you can even call them that.
I'm afraid I wholeheartedly disagree with you on that one, mate. Quantum PS3/X360 was nothing more than a run-and-gun game with shiny graphics. Had the PS2 given these graphics, it would've been one of the best Bond games, perhaps. Alas, the PS2 version received better reviews than the others.[/quote]
I respect your opinion and yes Quantum Of Solace on PS3/XBOX 360 was basically a run and gun game with a few pretty good fight scenes mixed in. Overall, the PS3/XBOX 360 version was a fun game even though it was not particularly impressive. The PS2 version was also an average game and while it did a better job from a story aspect, the game itself just wasn't particularly fun although it did have potential to be better. If they spent more time improving the shooting mechanics, difficulty and graphics, then maybe Quantum Of Solace for the PS2 would have been one of the best. Then again, you could say that about nearly all of the games. If Nightfire had been a bit more challenging with smarter AI bots and a few more missions, then it might have ended up being the best Bond game of all time (at least the console version anyway).
