@tanaka123, @00Agent's list missed the point of Nightfire being 37 at the time, so I corrected the list, again. :)

Yes, it appears so. While it would end up in my top three, I understand why it would not be a favourite among the fans in general.

Good I can accept Goldenye being top 5 inspite of bad graphics due t it being so iconic but how agent under fire is top ten is ridiculous I plan on getting a working ps2 and ps1 to play a lot of the games over again when I have time as I am now in full realization 007 legends was the last bond game ever sadly.

While I do love GoldenEye more than I can give it a credit for, I do personally find it to be overtly overrated among the fans. It's a super spectacular game and all that but... It's not the god of Bond Games. At least that's not how I see it.

Dump the stupid cloning subplot, I'd like the story better. It's great gameplay-wise. I popped it in the PS2 a few weeks ago and had a blast.

GoldenEye is no more overrated than anything else in the gaming community. It's fun, that's all I care about. My personal favorite in the franchise is Blood Stone, followed shortly by James Bond 007 on the Gameboy Color. I see that made it to 11, so I guess I'm not as alone in that as I thought I was.

I definitely agree on that. The story is mindless and doesn't make much sense, but it's the gameplay that attracts me to it most. I always have a blast playing it.

Of course it's fun. But, I do believe it's too much of a Quake game than a Bond game. Don't get me wrong, I love it and I do play it from time to time. But, looking at it, it shows its age too easily, only being a shooter game rather than being multi-genre experience, unlike the PS2/Xbox generation of Bond games. While it also is labeled as 'stealthy', it's very hard to perform stealth in it. Like Bond says... "Shoot in and out." The fun kind of way. But, I find it overrated.

I'm actually pretty good at stealth in GoldenEye. But the series truly didn't hit its stride until Everything or Nothing, the first game that truly felt like a Bond film. People keep praising NightFire for that, and while I love NightFire, it still felt too little like a Bond film, which is odd because it's just Moonraker with the Vanquish in it.

Agreed on these accounts. Yes, Nightfire was just an updated version of Moonraker with a little bit of The Spy Who Loved Me and You Only Live Twice thrown in. But, you've got to admit that Nightfire was a major step-up from the previous efforts, hence it's my all-time favourite Bond game. Drake himself (as well as his name) is a rip-off of the film's Hugo Drax from appearance to identity to behaviour, albeit more convincingly sinister and physically threatening. While I dearly loved Everything or Nothing heartily (at least up until we get to Moscow), I would've preferred if the game was somewhat longer.

Everything or Nothing was longer than the majority of the other games. Some of the missions were short but there were 27 of them. A lot may depend on what difficulty you play the game on. It takes approximately three hours to complete Nightfire on 00Agent and roughly 5 hours to complete Everything or Nothing on 00Agent.

The maps were, however I dare say, smaller than Nightfire. It was the AI that was challenging that led to the game's lengthiness.

At first, I was surprised that TWINE N64 was still here. After playing a bit of it today, I have to say, it is one of the greats and does deserve to be ranked this high. However, I still voted it down as it is the least great of those here.

On a related note; I just finally upgraded to an HDTV, and now I understand why so many people complain about how the N64 looks on an LCD. It's certainly tolerable, but definitely muddy.
