I recommend iced coffee. It's how I get to watch the Canadian and Brazilian Grands Prix.

Don't expect a live cut to the press conference, though. It's easier and more cost-effective for stations to run a live stream.

Don't expect me to watch it on the TV or drink coffee!

It'll be noon where I live and it just happens to be right then that I'm not at home or even in the proximity of the Internet. How unfortunate. :-((

i am hoping some usable b-roll footage is available during the press conference I quite like being able to do a bond 23 trailer solely using bond 23 footage.
We won't get any b-roll footage as nothing from the film has been shot yet.

Great news. I'll be there, 11:45. I wonder will leak early in the morning before that time, if anything?

I guess we'll know in two days time.

So then the next question, post conference, is when do we get the first teaser trailer?

Going by the past films, June.

But this one starts shooting much earlier than the past few films. So could we expect a teaser trailer in April or May ?

Maybe, though it doesn't finish filming until June which is the time trailers are normally released, when production is complete.

I see no reason to break, or why a successful pattern would be broken but it may possibly happen.

If it is in May like CR's was, look for it to be with Men In Black III, it's Sony's big movie for that month.

In June they have "I Hate You Dad" then in July they have Spiderman. It should be with one of those

I'd rather Men In Black III. That would make sense as The Amazing Spider-Man seems too late for the teaser.

For the past three films we've had trailers on:

Die Another Day - 17th May, 6th September, 3rd October
    Casino Royale - 2nd May, 7th September
Quantum Of Solace - 30th June, 9th September

May or June seems about right for this one.

If you are a Sky TV subscriber in the UK, and you have an Apple iPad, you will be able to watch a live stream of the Bond 23 press conference on Thursday.

You will need to download the Sky News app via iTunes and sign-in with your Sky ID.

The event starts at 11:45am GMT on Thursday 3rd November 2011.

It will also be available to subscribers through Sky Active.

If you can't watch online, tune in to MI6 for complete coverage of the event.

Is it possible to utilize the Sky News app outside of the UK?

It's not available in the app store outside of the UK (it's replaced by an 'International Edition'). Furthermore, you need a Sky ID, for which you need a Sky account, fo which you need a UK billing address...

They said it might stream online, but again, they have two streams: UK and non-UK.

Here's hoping for an online stream. If not from Sky, someone will come through.

Could you please explain what Sky Active is for us who don't live in the UK?

If it doesn't stream online, it seems it will be available only for iPad. Which is insane if you ask me.

I really hope there will be an international streaming of the press conference. It's the first time I'll be home at that time to watch it.

In today's internet age, to be honest with you @gt007, I'd be utterly shocked if the press conference wasn't streamed worldwide, especially when it's been available outside the UK for select countries for the last two films, which were 6 and 4 years ago. We've come a long way since then.

Agreed. The point of the press conference is advertisement. It is in their best interest to make a live stream available as widely as possible.

I agree too. Which is why I was a bit shocked that they announced a live stream of the press conference available only to Sky subscribers with an iPad, and not to everyone. Maybe it's too soon of course. By the time of the press conference we'll know more. Or at least I hope so.

I'm sure we will. Just look at how often the BBC update their site, it's hourly. Any mention of the conference from them, may not come until early Thursday morning for example.
