Here, we will be judging each Bond film based on their individual trailer campaigns (depending on the film, teaser trailers will be included too). Trailers are an undeniably important aspect of a film's marketing and anticipation, and are the largest, most unique artistic tool for getting moviegoers to theatre seats. Which trailer had the best editing, music, and more importantly, built the most hype for you?

    The Dr. No trailer isn't bad for 62, however Connery narrating it as Bond and explaining numerous pivotal parts of the movie really brings it down, IMO.

    The trailers for Spectre were all exceptionally made, and hearing the OHMSS theme woven into the trailer for the first time was one of the best moments I had experienced while being a Bond fan.

    I will participate in that great idea for a game!!

    But you have to give me 20 hours, Wednesday after work I will get to it.
    I need to view all of the trailers first, some of them I can't really recall. I can view them on my iPad on the way to work and back to home, I travel by train :)

    It's very interesting watching these trailers and hearing people's voices before they were dubbed over as well as lines that weren't included in the film and alternate takes.

    I feel like the Craig era trailers have been fantastic. In honor of that, I'll give my first vote to CR because it is incredibly dramatic with close up confrontations and the best snips of action.

    On the flip side, I'm down voting DAF because it feels put together in a shot in the dark manner. It has a couple of classic Connery scenes fixed in with incoherent clips that don't get me excited. I like the actual movie so much more.

    May take me a little while to get my first vote in. Really like this idea for a game so I want to ensure that I watch all the trailers once or twice to have them fresh in my mind before voting. When I get home from work tonight, I'll do that and get my first vote in later. Great idea for a game.

    -1 (AVTAK): While I really like Duran Duran's song and how Barry used it in the score, its use in this trailer is very jarring and distracting for me.

    -1 (GE): I'm removing my previous vote for GE because I didn't understand that we were supposed to take all of a film's trailers into consideration. I really love the GE teaser trailer--it really makes me want to watch the movie every time I see it, but the official trailer gives away who Janus is and I hate that.

    +1: (SF) I like the way the teaser trailer didn't let us get a good look at the film's main villain and how subsequent trailers sort of built an aura around him. I particularly liked the exchange "--How much do you know about fear? --All there is" and Severine's slightly shaken "Not like this. Not like *him*." This just sets up the character of Silva very well IMO.

    @josiah - you are right about GE. I thought about it yesterday. That's the problem with all the trailers being counted together. The teaser is superb, the Janus spoiler is not.

    @vzok Yeah if I could just vote for the teaser it would be my favorite by a landslide. I love that version of the Bond theme that plays in the teaser! I wish it had been in the movie somewhere.

    *a Trailer does nothing for me, and the words Sheriff Pepper is back don't help either.

    *b I recall this trailer before TLD was released. Gave lot's of in look into the movie without giving anything away. I was so pumped to see the movie, and it's always been a favourite. Maybe in a small part due to my excitement based on the trailer.
