I found his score very much lacklustre to be honest....I basically never listen to it. I even prefer one-time composers George Martin, Bill Conti and Marvin Hamlisch over him.

    GF
    FRWL
    DN
    TLD
    CR
    OHMSS
    QoS

    SF

    Not bad....

I figured SF would be next. It's actually #5 in my own ranking, so I'm very happy about it!

A mere 11 points over TLD, that's a random result then.

Are you really loathing that much over SF :-)? I mean come on.....it''s TOP 5. You wouldn't say that of TLD if that film got 5th and SF 6th.

You're mistaken, I would have said it the other way around as well. I hoped for clearer results in the top region, this is the first time we got under 12 points difference in the Top 10 :)

Will be interesting to see the other four film's points.

SF is only slightly less overrated than GF, but the people have spoken.

I still have my top 3 - 8,10,12 pointers left which is good...and one bad apple that surely has to be next ,that i gave no points to.

How come the word overrated wasn't garbage when it was used in regards to TLD? I use it in regards to SF, and in 3 minutes it's called garbage.

SF is overrated because it got ridiculously high praise by critics and everybody knows it had an easy task at satisfying the critics after the dismal QOS. Add the 50th Anniversary and you got the perfect storm for a film, that can't do wrong, no matter if it's any good.
Had SF come after CR it would have been received quite differently. That I'm sure of.

TLD can't be overrated. That's a contradiction, it can only be underrated. It wasn't very successful.

Anyway, the top 4 is perfect and it makes sense and it wouldn't change in the next 30 years.

    Hey @Gustav_Graves
I don't loathe SF, it's just the only one that I find difficult to watch once it reaches minute 72.
I do love to take every opportunity to say so though :P
It's almost always meant with humour, you know me.

And I acknowledged long ago that it will make the Top 5, just amazed that it did only 11 points better than TLD! I am so happy it has done so well.
TLD made me into the life long Bond fan that I am.

I know darling, but it does feel a bit like "Yeah obviously TOP 5, BUT". No hard feelings though, and I do like your self-criticism. Big hugsss.
