I found his score very much lacklustre to be honest....I basically never listen to it. I even prefer one-time composers George Martin, Bill Conti and Marvin Hamlisch over him.

Are you really loathing that much over SF :-)? I mean come on.....it''s TOP 5. You wouldn't say that of TLD if that film got 5th and SF 6th.
You're mistaken, I would have said it the other way around as well. I hoped for clearer results in the top region, this is the first time we got under 12 points difference in the Top 10 :)
Will be interesting to see the other four film's points.
Only three win a medal, not four. And 4th and 5th place only get a diploma :-P.
Had SF come after CR it would have been received quite differently. That I'm sure of.
TLD can't be overrated. That's a contradiction, it can only be underrated. It wasn't very successful.
Birdleson is very underrated.
I don't loathe SF, it's just the only one that I find difficult to watch once it reaches minute 72.
I do love to take every opportunity to say so though :P
It's almost always meant with humour, you know me.
And I acknowledged long ago that it will make the Top 5, just amazed that it did only 11 points better than TLD! I am so happy it has done so well.
TLD made me into the life long Bond fan that I am.
I know darling, but it does feel a bit like "Yeah obviously TOP 5, BUT". No hard feelings though, and I do like your self-criticism. Big hugsss.
Since you basically disclosed that GF comes next, you might as well publish it now. :)
