1st video:
I really like the concept you're playing with here, the Spectre title slowly revealing itself as a tricky cryptograph. Also the trailer feels quitie fresh, especially when you know you only had a couple promos to work with. I wish the organization had a similar name reveal sequence in the film, an air of mysterey, but oh well. Nice work and great concept for a trailer.
2nd video:
This is a tasteful choice of music for the Lucia love scene, I find it far more romantic and textured than the final musics used in either of the Lucia or Severine love scenes and I would also use it for a Mendes love scene if I was editing one. Nice choice.
3rd video:
I am an ant on fire when I see Warner Bros and Gal Gadot but other than that I enjoyed this one. Mr Hardy 'is some kind of intermediate blowhard villain between Bond and Blofeld. Also I liked Madeleine's new dialogue about danger, it was a littel hard to hear tho. Also and this is just a suggestion, but you can make your trailers more immersive by cropping all your footage to the same aspect ratio. Right now I get pulled out and snapped back when that changes between shots. But other than those minor niggles it was a fine piece of work and maybe my favorite of the bunch.
4th video:
I agree with you this one is quite seamless and convincing! I liked the boat chase, the car chase, and the way they were intercut. I see you have Camille back, I always struggle with casting girls for my fan videos, someimes I can't be bothered because I'm gay lol. I thought Blofeld's dialogue at the end was a littel anticlimactic for me, and to that end don't be afraid to use silence and let the images speak for themselves. But anyway it felt quite exciting and legitamate as a follow-up to Spectre!
I hope I wasnt' overly critical on you. :) I definintely sense some progression in your skill from top to bottom, and I look forward to seeing you expand your horizons. Keep it up. Maybe your favorite Bond movie and make a teaser for it, or a Bond movie you don't like very ,much and try to make it look good. Bonk it on the head and rip it's pants off. Make it happen and share it for us to see.
If there was anything I would say to improve on, it would have to be the framing of the shots. Sometimes its quite hard to be full engrossed in a trailer when the framing is constantly changing, so try and keep all shots the same framing. So if most of your shots have the black bars, make sure all your clips have black bars. If you're using different films that have different framings depending on what editing software you use, you can change the framing to suit whatever you're going for.
New drinking game, drink when I say framing haha :)
Glad this thread was bumped up or I would have missed it entirely...
But all of them are quite good actually!
Olga, Waltz back. Spacey and Nighy added!!
Bloody marvelous! I love it.
Whyle i like original ending in M office i think it have been more amazing if it end on roof without whole moneypenny thing straight in to the credits (What you did is close) no gunbarrel and gunbarrel was at the start of the movie. I Never left from Quantum of Solace is best ending so far include barrel.
Thank you for your Camile/Olga return suport.. ^:)^
After seeing/hearing M's death scene through your eyes and ears I begin to wonder if I would like Skyfall much more with a proper score.
Your re-score totally takes away the awkward Grey's Anatomy drama feel to the scene that I always get when watching it. Especially after what is the worst acted death scene ever by a villain.
