    So when did Fields write the 'run' note for Bond? And how do you get a dead women covered in oil to the hotel room without alerting the front desk? Or do you bring a barrel of oil up with you?

    Great viewing of QoS. Really enjoyed it. Craig delivers in this one. Love the action sequences. The plane one is a new find for me, don't know why that passed me by on previous viewings. I appreciate the film's brevity and brisk pace. Foster deserves credit for a unique Bond entry.

    I've always loved how extravagant the casino in OHMSS, wish you could find a place like that in the states instead if the usual tacky affairs we have.

    Just realized that when Bond is cleaning his desk out and going through past mission mementos, the rebreather from Thunderball would be yet another piece of equipment from Q branch that Bond didn't return.

    At some point you need to take these things out of his paycheck!

    Now that the story moves to Switzerland, I am eating a Toblerone which ads for the chocolate bar can be seen all throughout the train station; including Tobler-o-rum which was a rum filled Toblerone bar, though I believe it was discontinued a long time ago.

    Holy crap! Campbell really peels out of the parking spot in his VW beetle in a good few inches of snow. Very dangerous with all the nearby skiers.

    I might be forgetting some of the details, but are you referring to the part when Bond and Campbell meet after Campbell's capture and Bond (still undercover as Bray) needs to deny his connection to him to protect his cover and ultimately he can't do anything to prevent Campbell's torture and death? That would have been a pretty great add.

    OMHSS has some of the greatest sneaky bond moments. From his flawless exit from Gumbold's office to the scenes leading up to the epic ski chase where Bond escapes the cable car maintenance room and sneaks around subduing a guard before venturing off on his escape.

    Absolutely! Stealth elements have always been a huge plus for me in the series, even before JBR, so when they get excited about the sneaky moments, it makes me laugh that we all get a rush from the stealth scenes.

    I agree - I love the Henderson meeting and Osato office fight section. the second half is where it slows down. It's really only the raid where things heat up. I like the travelogue aspect of YOLT - I enjoy that about the book too - even though it's indulgent I enjoy the languid pace. YOLT has lavish indulgence everywhere. The soundtrack is a stunner too.

    JB Throttling JB with fire poker is brutal. Have always liked that pan over from henchman chasing to Connery taking off in the jetpack.
