Been awhile since I watched that all the way through.
Yes. He's Sir James Bond who is retired and enticed to come back after M is killed.
It's a comedy so everything is over the top. It's got a great music score, a great cast, some great Bond beauties, great sets, and beautiful 1960's color.
However, it lacks a strong narrative. It really is a film in different segments as it was directed by 5 people.
Best way to enjoy it is to put it on and go along for the ride. It's a spoof of not only Bond but the whole '60's spymania that was winding down by 1967.
Already watched Octopussy today and TMWTGG and FYEO earlier this week, so it can only be LALD, TSWLM, MR or AVTAK.
