It's pretty funny when the cops are laughing at his expense.

not sure what to think about the mine sequence, the set they built for the bomb is great though, or is that a matte painting?

I think it was at the new 007 Stage that had been rebuilt for AVTAK.

I like the set, though I do wonder what Ken Adam might have done with it.

How do you guys feel about doing DN in the near future?

That would be fun. I'm due for a DN viewing.

I always like to see Bond put on a jacket while undercover: the OP circus jacket, this one and later the Russian army uniform jacket in TLD. A John Glen tradition!

I think it's laughter of desperation, it suits Zorin's psychotic character very well.

So, I have read others trying to claim that Zorin is laughing at death as he falls into the Bay, but I disagree. I've thought, from my first viewing, that despite his impending death, that Dr. Mortner screaming, "Max!" was just so goddamned funny that he still had to laugh.

LOL! I have a cat named Max. When I call him I try to do in Mortner's voice. MAAAAAAAAAAX

I remember my Mom thought the violence in this scene was way over the top. She somehow didn't seem to mind LTK. Perhaps it was a biased as she liked Tim's Bond the best next to Sean?

I have a student named Max and every time I do attendance eI do it and they all laugh. I have a Marie in another class, and every time that I call her name I do the DAF, "Marie..ask Marie!"

After doing that for months I play the audio clips from the films through my class speakers and they were all stunned to here the crap I'd been doing coming form another source.

    Excellent!

Three of us MI6 members met up at a pub in SF and played Bond Trivial Pursuit.

    I'll bet that was fun.
