So it hit me. Bond and Gogol never meet in this film, they never meet in TLD, and I don't think that they meet in OP. The last they ever saw eachother was in the finale of FYEO.

That's right! Too bad he didn't carry on in LTK.

He was too ill by then. Could barely do TLD. I wouldn't have wanted him awkwardly squeezed into another plot anyway.

    True.

No more telling us what the next Bond film's title will be at the end. I remember being devastated in the theatre, my heart sank. There were still plenty of titles. They could have easily said' JAMES BOND WILL RETURN IN THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS.

I remember looking for that when we got the VHS rental. I couldn't remember from the cinemas. It was a void to not have the next title.

I have to think about where to put AVTAK in my ranking. 22nd feels too low now.

Would be great if we do another! It enhances the experience somewhat.

Thats as the first time since TB that we didn't get the next title (DN didn't have it either, but FRWL and GF did). Of course they made a mistake at least three times, but that didn't bother me.

Was there ever a complete version of the TB credits? Always seemed so weird to me how it cuts off so quickly without a JB will return...

Couldn't join tonight but it sounds like it was a good time! I'm available tomorrow night around 9pm EST. Just need to watch FYEO and AVTAK before 2017 is out.

Gogol would've had nothing to do with LTK anyway.

We're talking about DN tomorrow evening.

I could probably make that work!
  • I won't be available for DN, but one of these times I'll make it...

Watched a bit of MWTGG yesterday but picking it up again this morning. M

The film was never one of my favourites but it's half decent until Bond dives out of the window of the school. Then it becomes more obnoxious and boring

Lee has just shot Hai Phat.

Oh god Britt Eckland again. Go away.

Moore being quite slimy at the dinner table.

"Oh darling I'm tempted". Again, just go away you annoying unfunny woman.

Maud Adams is genuinely better here than OP.

    "I'm resigning in the morning"

Good god. Is she meant to be comic relief? She's not funny - she's irritating.

Dead Maud. It does make you wonder how Scaramanga got that shot.

Lee is great in his scene with Moore as always.

But I wish Goodnight and Hip wouldn't keep reappearing.

Boring car chase but the car stunt is genuinely great...sound effect or not.
