I always consider how ground-breaking the style of this film was for the time, and its affect on cinema and pop culture. Editing, quick cuts move the story forward. Violence excused by humor.
And the opening, such colorfully great sound and vision.

Peter Hunt already on board I see....he directed my favorite Bond and second favorite film of all times.

I think Binder was inspired by looking at round white price stickers and pictured them as gun shots rolling across the screen and it evolved from there.

Obviously innovative on its own, but the strides Binder makes in just 4 years for TB is incredible.

Great point. OHMSS and YOLT were not even published when DN was released. So SPECTRE had only existed in Thunderball to this point.

barely four minutes into the film including the credits and we get the first murder, fast moving plot, love it.

We see the three blind mice in the background in a later scene, it took many years for me to notice them.
